The Sabres scouting department is doing a great job at identifying players now they need to identify players that can play and have sandpaper in their game.

The Sabres have some really great young and upcoming players. Now all we need is a better coach to draw it out of these players!

He’s going to be a good one. To me the first overall pick in 24 will not make the kind of impact that Bedard is making. Bedard was by far the best player last year in the WJC.

Yeah you’re right. Here is the thing I just don’t get. Why any owner would be okay with this is beyond me. I know it’s a process to do a rebuild but no playoffs for how many years. At the end of the day I want to put together a Stanley Cup contending team year in and year out. It means season ticketing sales, merchandise sales and popularity among fans not in that market. Why in the hell wouldn’t you want that. I understand your not gonna be the top dog every year but this is just too much that the Sabres fans have been going through!

Yes you’re right. Worst thing is giving him a big extension without proving yourself more. They need a gritty veteran defenseman who can help these kids get to the next level. To me it’s mind blowing that any GM or head coach can be happy about their play this year.

It’s not just the goaltending, their team defense is atrocious. Plus someone needs to tell Power it’s time to bulk up, get tough and work on that foot speed. Your offensive leaders in Tuch and Thompson need to bring it game in and game out. Both have been lollygagging way too much. If you are gonna keep Granato then fire his assistant coaches. Even if the Sabres reel off a handful of wins by some miracle, I still don’t see this team making the playoffs. I think a lot of analysts think Buffalo was gonna be a decent team but still not a playoff team. It should be interesting to see what happens if the losing continues.

I absolutely love the Sabres but this is becoming a joke. The fans of Buffalo deserve better like alot better! I for one actually like how the Sabres have drafted but they need a leader on the backend that can bring more out of Dahlin and Power and the rest of the young defense. Plus after Kyle Okposo’s contract was over he should have been let go. And then making him the Captain. No, but hell no. Plus Granato isn’t the right coach for this squad. They need a coach that’s tough who can get this young group to play hard. It’s embarrassing how they are losing. Absolutely no excuse for this. They look like run and gun pickup hockey playing ***** defense. The team defense is non existent. If your a forward and your not gonna back check hard then you might be sitting on the bench or the press box. Now onto the people that want to talk about the NBA or the NFL. Both leagues have lost a ton of fans. Sorry, but after the NBA and the NFL got too political that was it for me. I’m done with these losers. I know a lot of people have turned away from both. Your job is to play a sport and we don’t want to hear about you being targeted by the cops. I think most of the country is tired of hearing about this crap. I know I don’t want the NBA in Vegas as that flipping idiot Lebron wants a team here. It will bring more idiots from California here who are like a cancer just ***** things up in each state they move to. Besides a lot of the crime that happens in Vegas is coming from California.

He should have been gone weeks ago. I was unable to watch the game but how did Tuch and Thompson play. These are supposed to be your offensive leaders.

They assembled a great pool of prospects, but he needs a tough coach, to bring it out of these guys, someone like torts! I’m okay even if we bring in Gallant. I think he might do better and get more out of these guys!

^ Vegas didn’t look sharp yesterday, plus missing Theodore and Martinez on defense plus Adin Hill in net.

Here in Vegas I always have been telling people Arizona isn’t that bad of a team and they have a decent coach.

Why is the youngest and one of the smallest players always going to the net and some of the vets with size are gliding around and playing on the perimeter. We need more guys like Benson but with some size and some bite!

Tuch and Thompson need to get it in gear. Way too much gliding around.

I wouldn’t change the lineup at all. Plus they need that same effort every night. Tuch and Thompson need to start skating, both are too good to be gliding as much as they have been.

^ This, plus getting Tuch and Thompson to step it up more. Buffalo definitely has a great young goalie in Levi. They still need some sandpaper on defense

I’m impressed they bounced back. Hopefully they can build off a win like tonight!
