For dinner: sockeye salmon baked with my own topping - a mix if brown sugar, chili pepper, onion powder, black pepper and assorted other spices that catch my eye. To go along with it, a Brussels sprout and bacon bake, drizzled with olive oil, cracked black pepper and sea salt, and for a starch, red quinoa. To drink : a mixed six of IPA's - green flash, weyerbachacher simcoe ipa, great divide IPA, Breckinridge brewery double hopped IPA, acme IPA and stone IPA. Going to follow that up with my own Islay scotch tasting. Laphroig 10 yr, Caol Ila 12 yr, and Ardberg Corryvreckan, a cask strength of undetermined age. No matter what the Sabres do tonight, I win!

Speaking of cleaning, don't forget the clear the pipes...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RC8wEqUHA2Q Impress? No. Prevent her from becoming so disgusted she leaves immediately? Yes

Go home and clean your toilet. When you are done, start over and do a better job because it's not good enough. And clean your shower. And change your sheets. You know, just in case...

Mazdas aren't bad cars, but they aren't on the same reliability plane as Hondas and Toyotas. Hyundais have excellent initial quality, their problem is down the road. They are not built for the long haul the way Hondas and Toyotas are. You might also consider a Ford. Their quality keeps going up and up. Since you are looking at a car several years old and intend to keep it far longer, its the long term reliability you need to worry about. Certified pre-owned means its passed an inspection by the dealer - usually gets you an extended factory warranty, which is a good thing. And no, I would never, ever tell them what your price is. You pick the car, and then negotiate the price on that car only. Be prepared to walk away, and it doesn't hurt to do it and give them another chance to meet your price a few days later. But then again, I am a bastard when it comes to buying cars. Consumer reports reviews of cars reflects what AARP folks think of them, not young college graduates. This explains the continued existence of Buick.

You will be brought in when its time to write the check. And you should be worried. Oh, and congrats. I have some words of advice too, but you are in love and won't heed them, so I won't bother. This is all great advice. Since you don't appear to be an enthusiast, reliability would seem to be your primary concern. In light of that, and considering the years you intend to keep the vehicle, stay with Toyota or Honda, avoid Nissan, and run like hell from a Hyunda, anything else made in Korea, or any other discount brand.

I believe they make expandable skates for kids that age - They are entirely appropriate until he is 4 1/2or so and can actually start to do a little edge work. At 2 1/2 -3 they are just learning how to fall, get up, move forward and stop. Plus, I don't think they make a hockey skate smaller than a youth size 6. At 2 1/2, that may still be too big. Its great that you will be getting him out that young!

Sign him up for hockey if your league allows them to at at age (both my kids were playing at 3), and sign him up for skating lessons. The skating lessons are mostly figure skaters, but those girls know how to get kids up and moving. My boys (a pee wee and a squirt both playing on Tier II tournament bound teams) still take lessons - I figure if NHL skaters continue to take skating lessons, my kids should too.

Have you seen Thigpen play? No matter who they draft, we need a body at the position. It's not like we are up against the cap or anything. All that said, It wouldn't surpise me if they did - then they can pocket the savings and trot out some other broke dick excuse for a QB. Yup - I was on my feet along with half the stadium when Houston scored to start the 2nd half. Luckily, the Bills started driving before we got to the stairs.

I want ice for the back yard rink! bio - I hate 99% of christmas cookies ever made - the only ones worth eating are my mothers- because they taste delicious and I know I could eat off the floor in her kitchen - have you ever been to someone's house and vowed never to eat anything they ever make again? I can't tell whose jello mold has cat litter in it, won't risk it, and most of the time it doesn't matter because they can't cook or bake for ###### anyway. OK - the avatar stays until 12/25.

This just in - Stafford really sucks when he's not scoring hat tricks.

1.No one likes my new avatar as much as I do. 2.It's awfully quiet around here today. Either someone bought himself a vacation, or the place is going to explode. 3.all those "Enroth is a god, I want to have his baby, we should trade Miller" threads have slipped off the front page, so I am slowly forgetting who made fools of themselves and who was on the side of reason. 4. Christmas cookies. 5. 50 degree days in mid December. Good thing I can still count on beer.

I think Darcy feels the same way you do. Damn Eurotrash aren't worth wasting a draft pick on Fixed that for you. ;)
-
what does it say? Edit: PM me what it says.

You must be from Massholechusetts. ;)

Are you warming up to Kassian?

I still have my "Drill the Oilers" placard they were handing out that day, as well as my ticket stub. Anyone else remember what the tickets looked like?
-
Were you able to send him to school today or does your hand print still show on the side of his face?
-
Interesting - they rank the drafting of Tony Mandarich as the third biggest sports flop of the last 25 years. They rank THE ENTIRE BUFFALO BILLS ORGANIZATION as the 24th biggest flop during a time period that encompassed 4 Superbowl appearances. Advantage Green Bay.
