You have no love for Vanek - I have no love for Kane. Vanek has been and will continue to be a more productive scorer than Kane, without ever having played with a center of Toews' caliber. Any other forward, I'm all over it, but I wouldn't trade Vanek for Kane. I bet Regier and company agree with me.

First, it wasn't me, second, if he is put off by a snarky comment he won't be here long anyway. third, their are plenty of new posters - some good , some bad, some indifferent- same as with the veteran posters. New posters don't necessarily make things better, and neither do veteran posters. Informed hockey discussion makes it better - which he failed to provide in his first post. I bet he does better next time. And if his experience serves as an instruction to other lurkers, all the better. Had the OP paid attention during his lurking time, he would have known that his initial post was not the way to go about introducing yourself to the board.

Uppity newbs should be trying to fit in and follow board etiquette, not saying "Look at Me!" as they say something that has been said 100 times before. If, like most noobs, he lurked for a while before joining, he would have certainly noticed the proliferation of new threads, and the chastising that occurred when a new thread was unwarranted. Despite all that, he chose to start a new thread anyway and say look at me.
