The close regulation losses crush this team every season. Just cannot find their way to OT often enough. when times are tough they need to find a way to scrounge out a point and stay in this race.

The vibe feels like the team is about to lose the next 8 of 10., with most being regulation losses.

I noticed that too and thought it was really strange. We all know the guy's name. Even more bizarre is how his home crowd applauded for him at his first appearance back (even tho he didn't play). How can anyone cheer for this guy? His reckless nonsense killed a man on the ice.

They've made zero progress other than having some good individual players in the system. Other organizations over the past 12 years have made the playoffs, then had down cycles then had rebuilds, etc.. While the Sabres just stay around the bottom consistently. Terry, please sell the team.

The Capitals have a new coach and they started the season awful. They have several new players I've never heard of. They've had some injuries. They beat Las Vegas last night and now won 7 of their last 9. But Buffalo has this amazing pipeline of young guys! SO where the heck are they? We should be better than the Caps this season.

Ugh, this sucks. And now the regulation losses will pile up unless players exceed expectation. I think back to last season. Guys were having career seasons. ya gotta take advantage. There’s no guarantees for tomorrow

I decided to watch Sabres tonight to make me feel better from last nights Bills game. I’m feeling a bit nauseous now. Just no hope in Buffalo pro sports. regression.

These guys suck and are not entertaining to watch

Last year it seemed like the Sabres were really good at puck possession and obviously scoring. What happened to that club? They are so boring to watch nowadays and last night was just a stolen game by Levi. I didn’t think Buffalo played very well, especially a rested home game against a team on a back to back.

That team played last night, The Sabres should be able to dominate play.

Sabres seem to allow too many high danger chances on the PK. I mean that and the faceoffs will kill them.

Disagree. Sabres never beat Carolina. They are a mediocre team at best right now. UPL rebounded, they got the tying goal in the 3rd. take the point be happy.

I’m in the minority but i’m still very happy to get the game to OT. Last year we didn’t get enough losers points which cost us. we would’ve lost that game 2-1 in regulation.

Gotta get the game at least to OT. Must get a point. Can’t give up that 3rd period tie breaking goal they so often do

If the Sabres can ever figure out how to beat Carolina and Boston they might have something. Tonight would be a good start. At least last they've finally been able to gets some points from the Florida teams the past couple years. That was another problem.

Baffles me that the Sabres don’t come out flying every game with all their skilled guys. Other than a proven goalie i’m told every summer we have as much talent if not more on the roster and in the pipeline as most teams.

Except for a couple games, the Sabres look worse this year. You knew they would not be able to keep up that crazy scoring pace of last season, but figured goalie and D would be better and they would still have puck possession. Not seeing it.

Donny is too analytical and calm. Tonight is one of those games he needs to shout and crack some skulls.

They won’t say it publicly but i think these players will be panicking soon. They are tied with San Jose and Pittsburgh for the most home losses. They just can’t be Top 5 in that category again if they hope to make the wild card. They aren’t going to be as good on the road as they were last year.

You would think not making the playoffs for what seems like 50 years, the Sabres would be the most desperate team every game, especially at home. But they suck. They haven’t played all that well for the season if you ask me. Maybe 2 solid games out of 11.

Regulation home losses are simply the reason this club cannot get over the hump. Until they win or at least get points in the majority of home games keep booking tee times for April.
