Ouch! any knowledgable hockey fan knows that Gerber is very capable stealing a game/series much like Khabibulin did for Tampa a couple years ago. If we don't get a goal early I'm worried. Until I see how we react to not having Tallinder I feel like this is a road game tonight. I just want to keep it close for 30 minutes and then make our move. I like when Miller sees some rubber early and gets into the groove. This should be a really crazy game. My stomach hurts already for no reason other than nerves.

Since I've come to the conclusion that my actions will not affect the outcome of a game/series I will offer this up. Buffalo will win in Five. Let's face reality. Ottawa was really, really good. We beat them with a combination of skill, luck, great goaltending and timely scoring. Ottawa controlled the play in large chunks of the series especially on their ice. Carolina will not be able to control the flow of the game like Ottawa did. Buffalo will probably get more shots and scoring chances overall than the 'Canes. This will make it a much closer series to Philly than it will be to Ottawa. I'm not saying we will blow out the 'Canes because we won't. They are better than Philly...but The only way I can see them beating us 4 out of 7 is if Cam Ward just plays stellar and Miller goes in a bit of a slump. I'm not counting on that. Getting through the Ottawa series made us that much stronger and smarter of a team.

I am seriously losing interest in this team. Great chances, no finishers, below avg goaltending. This is so typical Sabres. We make every goalie look awesome. I love how the 'Canes announcers are so giddy because thier goalie is "in the zone" tonight. Everyone is in the zone against Buffalo. They suck big time.

This game has horribly disappointing Loss written all over it. They seem like they expected this to be an easy game (which it should be if they were playing hard).

Horrible, horrible goal Miller. That is the kind of loss that you cannot afford in the Northeast Division where every team is a plyoff caliber team.

I will say that Pitt gives us the most problems in the regular season of any team. We never have an easy game against them it seems even when we dominate the shots and other stats.

I've been meaning to sign up and now i will. miller SUCKS. I swear, he is not in the same league as many other goalies in the NHL and certainly not Hasek or the Pitt goalie tonight. It's like the guy falls asleep half the time? No excuse to let that Recci goal in or the few long slapshots he let in Sat night.
