What are your opinions on what happened to him? He scored 15 goals in 48 games two seasons ago (25 goal pace) and 20 goals in 72 games last year post new contract. Is it just a Nolan thing?

Right now Stewart is likely the only rental winger on the market. The high asking price makes sense. I'm sure the Sabres would be willing to retain salary as well.

It really doesn't, every team in the league will be after him which pushes the price back up. I agree with Tank, you're probably looking at having to give up two of Myers, Girgensons, Reinhart, Zadorov, Risto or the Sabres 1st.

I think that's right, they're given a compensatory pick for losing him, i don't believe it comes from the team that signed him. -
