  1. Not interested in the money or term Sekera is going to command.
  2. Bylsma mentioned moving Ristolainen to the left side this morning on WGR.
  3. I feel like i recall a time in which he has acknowleged Darcy. Either in a press conference or on WGR.
  4. Other lefty D are Green, Martin or Beauchemin
  5. They have 9 first and second round picks remaining from the last three drafts.
  6. Perhaps McGinn makes Foligno expendable?
  7. Legwand, if they keep him, could also be seen as a good mentor for Eichel. He knows what it's like to be a #2 pick in the league. I don't hate what they got, I just hate the value they gave up to get it. Hamilton also added, Legwand may be needed as help to get to the cap floor.
  8. He's restricted at the end of the 2 years however.
  9. not impressed, I don't see how Legwand adds any value to the deal
  10. My issue with Lack is he's only signed through next season.
  11. There has to be someone else coming with them, Legwand is a cap dump.
  12. Last three full seasons, 18, 28 and 17 goals. Around 20 is probably what you'd expect year to year.
  13. I'd be all for it assuming it was part of something bigger, like trading a dman for another forward.
  14. https://twitter.com/Aportzline Aaron Portzline ‏@Aportzline · 3h3 hours ago NHL GM over the weekend, noting teams' salary cap woes: "You can get a hell of a player with a second-round pick (at this year's draft)." I'm glad the Sabres have the highest one.
  15. I voted zero, I think the goalie market never materializes into something worthwhile and they get their goalie in free agency. I also have a feeling they stand pat and use all their picks padding their prospect pool.
  16. He said youngish, I think he'd be fine with someone around 27-28.
  17. Lack's entering the last year of his deal, I'd rather just sign my own 28 year old goalie and use that pick elsewhere.
  18. I know it's likely he resigns in Minnesota, but I think if rather keep the picks either Lack or Lehner will cost and sign Dubnyk, or another of the free agent goaltenders.
  19. here's the site I've been using https://www.hockeyscap.com/buyout_calculator/cody_hodgson
  20. If he's bought out now it's $791,667 over 8 years. If you wait until next season it's $1,666,667 over 6 years
  21. I could see his assist totals increase with better line mates, but I think his goal production will remain around 20-25
