Jason Garrett missing

P Ham talked at length about this last Tuesday on wgr, one item he mentioned that really rubbed players wrong regarding Finley was the teams travel schedules. Keeping players overnight on the road for rest and costing them time with their families. He also noted setbacks in multiple players return from injury as well as the diet plan not being practical.

Maybe I'm missing something? I don't get what's inappropriate about that statement.

He'll be a rental, I can't imagine he would cost that much. It's an odd situation since he's such a great player, but I imagine the cost will be prime picks/prospects.

They'll be releasing Mario Williams, Leodis and perhaps a few others to open cap space. Signing Glenn will use that space. If they don't sign Glenn, that space will remain open.

I guess I was thinking more about the Watkins and McCoy trades. I feel like they're going to have trouble resigning Cordy Glenn, which will open cap space (leaving a hole at LT).

I agree so far, though Whaley has proven in his past two offseasons he's not afraid to make splashes and I'm excited for the possibility.

This is the full quote from the WGR interview, it seemed less likely regarding an extension, or perhaps Murray is just posturing: "We've talked to him 2 or 3 times. We've asked what their thoughts are on term and on money. We've given them our thoughts on term. So if we can do something that suits both parties we will try; and if we can't, again depending on how the team does the next three weeks, I certainly don't like to see a player leave here without getting anything back."

P Ham stated on the radio yesterday that he practiced in a red jersey on Monday, but despite the jersey it appeared he was full go.

Agreed, in my opinion the two shows run by the team on WGR are unlistenable. I imagine a network run by them would be more of the same. I'm actually a fan of this because it may open those time slots to more non-team run shows. I'd love it if Coller or Sal had their own shows during the day or in the evening.

Another thing I was unaware of was the Chuck Dickerson stuff. Couldn't stand him on the radio.

I thought that was interesting also, first time I had heard that. I find it surprising he wouldn't have just grabbed someone else's of the same size and figured it out after the drive.
