Just for conversations sake the major free agent decisions they'll have for this offseason are Gilmore, Zach Brown, Robert Woods and Lorenzo Alexander. I'm guessing Woods and Gilmore will walk and am hopeful they are able to reach manageable deals with Brown and Alexander.

They needed help, which they got. Jets made the playoffs despite losing in the 4pm game because of the Bills loss.

Looks like CB has deep half, could be wrong. Could also be that the slot CB on Woods was in wrong coverage. Essentially I'm saying I don't think there's as much into this as being made.

Camp reports already had him losing that spot to Lorenzo Alexander, and Manny Lawson will play that position at the start of the season once healthy. It was starting to sound like IK was a long shot to be on the team.

Is that maybe the salary he was going to get prior to the extension?

If I were him, the thing I would be concerned about with Chicago is their long term commitment to me. Could I end up playing well for two years and shipped off to a team I don't want to play for for a younger/cheaper player.

I'm not hopeful for any of their young RBs and their lack of promise is a likely a part of why he was signed.

General Fanager has it projected at around $9.6 with McCormick on LTIR.
