  1. Yeah. Oh well, no excuse for not getting back to earth now after two such weak displays in a row.
  2. Yup, pretty weak.
  3. Gaustad drawing two penalties in a row, nice one. They need more than one goal on this one.
  4. Hope you're right, but I'm ALMOST wishing they won't. They need a dose of reality, but why oh why does it have to be on home ice against The Leafs?
  5. Certainly is, but it's not like the team has been rock solid at any point in this season, so the drop to where they are now is not as far as people seem to believe. So far this season, I don't think they've played one full game of hockey except against The Isles, and seeing as it's The Isles I'm not sure that counts :D At any rate, I don't mind them getting their heads out of the clouds, just ticks me off that it has to happen like this.
  6. Actually, just checking the stats here, it's three games with a GAA of 4-00. He allowed 4 against Atlanta as well. Well not entirely 4.00, there's two OT periods in there as well. Hasn't been his usual solid self since the SO gainst The Isles, IMHO. Doesn't matter now anyways though, they need at least 3 in the third.
  7. Never said he was the problem, I said what you usually do in this situation is yank your goalie to shake up the team.
  8. That'd I agree with, but you've been following this game long enough to know that this is a game of streaks if ever there was one. My point is just that when things go like they're going now and you need to shake up your team, more often than not, you would pull a goalie who has allowed 8 goals in two games, at least give me that.
  9. Mistype on my part, but you know what I was getting at. A GAA of 4.00 in 2 games is not a healthy GAA.
  10. Well, so far it's a GAA of 8.00 in two games. If he's anything like most goalies, I don't think his confidence is completely healthy as it is. Not sure it's completely gone either, but surely he's not feeling 100% about his gamenow? Well if you could pull the reast of the team, I'm sure that'd be the way to go, but as it is, you pull the goalie.
  11. No but it might wake up his team. Doesn't really matter if he's played well or not when you're down 4-1, does it?
  12. Somebody give Miller the hook please, might wake up this bunch of sleepwalkers.
  13. Tucker?? Nooooooo, not TUCKER!!?
  14. Ridiculous. But we dive a lot, you know.
  15. Weak ass call on Roy.
  16. Bites. Never was the most durable team I ever saw.
  17. JESUS CHRIST!!!! How the hell did this team go from an offensive juggernaut to the 2002-2003 Sabres in five days!??!?!
  18. They're just not skating. No transition game whatsoever, and giving Boston a ton of odd-man rushes.
  19. Well, unless they start skating anytime soon, this one looks done. Christ almighty they stink tonight.
  20. Right now the Bruins are letting US hang around.
  21. I think it all comes down to how quickly we get our legs going. We usually start slow, but with 5 days off it's going to be even slower, I expect.
  22. Well, I guess it's hard to feel down after a nailbiter like that one, a record of 10-1, The Cryers getting pasted 8-2 by Pittsburgh, with Hatcher getting his butt whipped too. Right, on with the season!
  23. Nice one Max.
  24. The reason he got the SHG out of the box, was that he was working a little too hard in his own end, in the first place. I remember wondering why he charged in like that, it's not like the situation wasn't reasonably under control?
  25. Well as long as all they do is boo. They paid the price of admission, they're allowed to I think. Not like The Cryers who want to kill the opposition for taking a shot on their net. Kovalev was a friggin' cheap shot artist tonight, that slash on Briere looked all too intentional to me, like was trying to break his hand. The boarding penalty on Novotny seemed pretty out of place as well.
