For a league who's trying to get rid of fighting, they're letting the Bruins get away with murder as always. Hit a Bruin, you have to fight someone, every freakin' time. Fair play I suppose, if it meant other teams were allowed to do the same, but Mike Weber gets an instigator and a 10-minute misconduct instead. I guess we'll see if that door swings both ways tonight.

And I can understand those emotions, basically because I share most of them. However, as soft as this team has been since pretty much forever, I get the feeling that they could go out and send every Bruin off the ice on stretchers, and still be regarded as soft. There's only one way of changing this perception that most other teams have of the Sabres, and that is to play said teams hard. Repatedly. Teams need to be able to *feel* they played Buffalo last night. That's how you change a reputation. No one game is going to magically wipe away the Sabres reputation for being soft, so it might as well be about the 2 points tonight.

Of course he wants points, don't we all? And revenge, yeah that ship has sailed over a year ago. I think the Bruins are gonna come out and try goading the Sabres into playing their game, and as much I'd love to see Tim Thomas run through the end boards, I'd settle for 2 points and hopefully not too many injuries. Problem is these guys routinely get away with the most outrageous cheapshots.
