True about the coaches - I’d take someone who’s been fired any day. Hell at this point, I’d settle for someone without Premier League experience. I won’t pretend I have a clue as to which type of coach this team needs, but personally I’m at the point where I cringe everytime I hear the word “system”. But maybe that’s just me…

I agree the Bruins are good, but the Islanders are getting points from Barzal,and their depth players are contributing too. Varlamov is great. When that Islanders team is going, look out. Love this series so far. First non-Sabres playoff series I’ve watched every game in. Yup, that’s what the Pegulas have turned me into - A playoff-craved hockey addict, who is forced to root against the Leafs, Bruins and Flyers. Certainly seemed that way, back in the day ✌️😎

Completely stunned by the Jets lack of effort through the last two games. Sure, they’ll push and shove after whistles, but the Habs are outskating and outhustling them period after period. And they score dirty goals to boot.

It always baffled me, cause the stats don’t tell half the story with regards to faceoffs. But anyone who’s ever lost two defensive zone draws in a row and chased possesion, knows.

Not that I disagree, but to be entirely fair to perhaps myself and other posters, do you honestly think the team has shown anything to warrant optimism, these past years? Not trying to pick a fight, an honest question. I guess my point is, until the team shows some reason for optimism, we can’t hardly blame people for being the opposite? This has been a nightmare skid for years.

Maybe they should’ve saved that money on the GM they hired, considering they’ll be doing his job anyway. Sarcasm aside, I agree - anyone in their right mind would want to at least have a say in who they’ll be paying. That being said, anyone in their right mind would also learn from 10 years of past experience, and recognize they shouldn’t try to do a job they flat out suck at, so I’m kinda torn here…
