  1. Well, it's gonna take more than just a... Oh who the hell cares anyway, Sabres flat out suck.
  2. Well, technically yeah, but the words "over" and "wide" spring to mind.
  3. I wish I shared your optimism, hehe.
  4. OH FOR #%^$#!'S SAKE WHAT'S IT GONNA TAKE FOR CONNOLLY TO HIT THE FRIGGIN' NET, JUST ONCE!??!?!??!??!
  5. Drury's currently a -7 on the season. This experiment that is Ruff has got to stop, Drury is NOT that bad a player, I refuse to believe Ruff is not at fault for his disasterous play this year.
  6. And they STILL can't score, god this has to be the most frustrating team I ever supported in any sport.....
  7. Zigomanis - of course, who else? Probably the only guy on the Canes roster without a point, of course he scores against Buffalo. Oh well, hopefully they'll lose the next 25 and Ruff wil be history.
  8. Good effort tonight, but it's 5 losses in 6 games. Hope they enjoyed their day off against The Caps, that game sure would've looked better in the W column right now.... :( Is it just me, or could Drury be a healthy scratch without anyone noticing?
  9. Gaustad's showing some spunk after that hit, nice effort.
  10. Doesn't look like anything's gonna be turned around tonight.
  11. Yeah, Max isn't eactly the guy you'd expect racking up the assists. Of course it's very cool that he's producing, but I'd feel better if 3-4 of those assists were goals.
  12. Buffalo on the PP. Alright Chris, time to earn your keep, you owe a few goals - now's a good time to start!
  13. Sabres need a W tonight to halt this skid.
  14. And to heck with trading Kotalik, get rid of Drury instead.
  15. This team has no right to lose on fluke goals, when they don't secure the 2 certain points against teams like The Caps, simple as that. They're playing themselves out of a playoff spot, and I can help but blame Ruff. It is his job to keep his team fired up, and as usual he fails miserably. This team is nowhere near good enough to take nights off, and if he can't get that message across, it's time he got replaced with someone who can. But this is The Sabres, the franchise that fires noone, and where consequence is something out of a dictionary. Further, I'd like to hear Darcy's excuse for missing the playoffs in this "New NHL". I mean, this is the exact NHL he's built his team for the past 4 years, and guess what Darcy? They're STILL as crap as ever. October was a fluke, here come the REAL Buffalo Sabres....
  16. Hello good old November/December slide, goodbye playoffs.
  17. Jeez, Buffalo are taking a ton of penalties tonight.
  18. Well, he does have a .820 SV% he needs to maintain....
  19. Prediction : Sabres will need 6 goals tonight for a win, I don't see Biron allowing anything less than 5.
  20. The Sens are good - DAMN good, but they're not 10-4 good. Biron is as a big a sieve as he ever was, and the rest of the team didn't think they were supposed to play tonight. Same old Sabres, and god I detest them for that. With Miller out, we'll be rubbing elbows with The Pens in not time. Oh well, I was kinda missing the good old 2-9-3'ish November and Decembers :(
  21. Unless they think playing a backup is going to be a walkover. The Sens scare me, they're as fast, yet a helluva lot more talented than Buffalo.
  22. I'll have absolutely no problem with Kotalik not scoring another even strength goal for the remainder of the season, as long as he keeps pumping them home on the PP. Haven't had a consistent PP finisher since Big Dave.
  23. Yup, they got going just as I started dissing the PP, ooops, hehehe. Anyone else think that Z did more for The Sabres tonight than he ever did while he was with them?
  24. Kotalik 6-4 on the PP, with Z in the box again! Gotta wonder if Z is still on Darcy's payroll somwhere, he's the reason if Buffalo wins tonight.
  25. Another Z penalty, time to put this one away. Law of nature :D
