Hear ya about Darcy, but I honestly think Ruff's methods just ceased working 3 years ago, Rigas incident or not.

Like I said in another post, Ruff is nuts. Can't say I'll be all that thrilled if The Sabres win though, I'm sure Darcy will want to give him another 15 years on his contract.

Losing doesn't put fans in the seats, and this franchise wrote on the book on losing. They started well, but people have seen it before and expect more from them before they start turning up again. But I'm sure Regier doesn't give a hoot, he's looking for revenue sharing.

Even he must close his eyes and get in the way of a puck once in a while.

Well, I'm sorry to say I don't quite agree on that, simply because I believe that The Sabres are such a black hole scoring and offense-wise, that even the best and most talented 60 goal scorer would become a 40 goal scorer here. A 40 goal scorer would become a 20 goal scorer, and so forth. So when you look at it that way, we already have a ton of 20-40 goal scorers, they're just won't score them here :D

That basically goes for any Sabre though, doesn't it?

This whole situation reminds me of when I quit smoking. It took me a ton of tries. Even though I wanted to shake that habit so bad, I kept coming back for more. The Sabres are my smokes now, I desperately wish I could say "I couldn't care less" and quit on 'em, but I can't..............

I'm so utterly crapped off by this team, that I'm seriouslY doubting whether I actually want them to win another game?? They could lose 10 in a row, win one, lose another 10, win another, and that'll be reason enough for Regier to keep Ruff. If 15 losses in a row is what it takes, bring it on, if it's 25, hell let's get this show on the road, if it's 50 in a row - GREAT! Just as long as it gets Ruff fired!!!!!!!!

God I'm so sick of The Sabres, period. ESPECIALLY Ruff and Biron!!!

I feel sorry for Rick and Jim - They're having to resort to disussing Brind'amour and Drury's faceoff stats.
