  1. That's normal, though.
  2. Yeah, I've had a few myself...and not all were caused by head contact. Thanks for confirming.
  3. Can't a concussion result even without a blow to the head? Like a sudden stop in a car or a heavy hit to the body that forces the brain to move around in its brain compartment?
  4. Not until someone with a POA (I think his uncle?) signed a disclosure form.
  5. This is why I like the Concept of McCabe.
  6. No, he's wearing a Miller slug.
  7. Whoever it is that had the guts to wear the turdburger sweater to an away game...good on that guy.
  8. Pens and Caps look headed to OT.
  9. Certainly, but Meier will cost more than that. He already makes nearly twice Olofsson's salary.
  10. OK this is going to go in all sorts of directions now.
  11. Bad math. You're forgetting to subtract whoever it is that he'll be replacing, for one thing. And there are a few others. I still do not advocate for trading for a guy that's not going to fit w/I the cap.
  12. Like I said, they all look alike.
  13. Agree 100% No bowl of Cheerios is safe, huh?
  14. Well, good for him, sorta? I was hoping he wouldn't land on a no-talent team, but, then again, high-talent teams don't often look for new HCs.
  15. Is it Thursday again? They all look alike.
  16. Sure was. Is he getting consideration for HC or for something else?
  17. Especially in the convenient single serving package.
  18. FWIW I haven't seen a single Chicago message board discussing a potential McCabe trade. Just @Brawndo's tweet from the Meier thread.
  19. He's 36! McCabe comes through the next several years at only $4M. If they're going to give up a 4th or 5th for Johnson, fine, but McCabe is the better player and the better move. EDIT: Please remember that it needn't be a one-off for this season. The team lacks depth on D and we all know it.
  20. It might even have been a good idea. It's a division rival and sometimes some sandpaper is needed.
  21. He doesn't move.
  22. He wasn't the ingredient that previously made the team sick, though.
  23. He wasn't the problem. He saw the problem and realized he couldn't fix it here and didn't mind leaving AT THE TIME.
  24. At a certain point, he may even have been the Sabres' best defenseman. I've always loved his "special brand of mean," a phrase I used more than once here to describe his play. Get him.
