Why? Why do I do this?
-
So this was a bad time (about 10 into the third) to tune in, yeah?
-
I don't know--I haven't read it and probably won't be able to anytime soon.
-
Let me guess who's bankrolling this bs lawsuit...
-
His ceiling is Jake McCabe. And I like McCabe, but I wouldn't have protected him in an expansion draft.
-
I want to know what happens if he is accidentally picked for the tri-wizard tournament next fall. This should be a separate thread from the other seventeen Levi threads we have.

Paging @inkman
-
Did he not smoke them long enough or is it the sauce he uses?
-
There is Varlamov but I'm really on the fence regarding his personal stuff. Although, he did win an abuse-of-process suit against his alleged victim, so maybe benefit of the doubt should prevail.
-
Again not in my experience but ok.

?? I've been to enough Five Guys, including the original in Arlington 25 years ago, before it expanded, and what? The bags were/are white paper.
-
Umm, I think we all know what song he was referring to.

Well, I think it's been answered. The trio of Anderson/Comrie/Luukkoonnneeenn have been ok at times, and bad at times, but seldom GOOD. Levi is a relatively unknown commodity, but there is no reason to believe that he can't be better than the aforesaid trio. The main evidence against Levi seems to be that PA doesn't know anything about him. That's really weak, for several reasons. The main evidence against the other three is the entire season, or, in the cases of Anderson and however-its-spelled, last season as well. Draw your own conclusions, but I see nothing that would discourage me from starting Levi, even if I also see a case for starting someone else (Comrie).

Why?

That's Okposo's job. Granato's job is to make the right decision regardless.

I think you misunderstand the word "thread." This is not a Buffalo Sabres thread. This is a home improvement thread. Many of us have come to know each other over the years--whether virtually or in person--and it's kind of nice to see what someone is doing with their non-hockey time. So we have other sports threads, music threads, car threads, rod and gun threads, and the like. The beauty of the system is that all of them are optional, as is SabreSpace itself. In other words, if I am not interested in hunting and fishing (and I am not), I don't need to visit the rod and gun thread. If I'm interested in being jerky, I don't need to visit SabreSpace at all. I am not making sauces on a grill, nor am I baking bread on one. I need a stove and an oven. But I get where you're headed. I might just start a cooking thread to piss a certain someone off. And also because I like cooking.

The Sabres traded for Thompson with the knowledge that he was/is a center. Krueger's failure to deploy him correctly doesn't change that. Here is just one article from the time of the trade; he is described as a center: https://www.nhl.com/news/sabres-trade-oreilly-to-blues-for-three-forwards-pair-of-draft-picks/c-299385990 Here is hockeydb's 2016 draft: https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/draft/nhl2016e.html Thompson always was a center. Granato just moved him back to his natural position and I don't see how Adams had anything to do with it, but maybe he did.

Time filler.

You start the goalie who gives the best chance to win. Over the last month and a half, that's Comrie. Over the last day and a half, that's Levi. Which of those two looks better in practice? (We won't know.) That's whom to start. I would not start UPL or Anderson. I just don't see a reason to do so.

Did you watch him flounder around in the first period? Or are you just going to cite stats from a team that is improving? Remember, a rising tide lifts all boats, even the HMS Mittlestadt.
