There are serious implications for The Lord's Prayer with this--it is "thy," not "your," even in modern-day English. (I'm not kidding, I wrote a mini-paper on it once.) The distinction is ancient, as well; the Austrian Jewish philosopher/theologian Martin Buber titled his seminal work "Ich und Du," not "Ich und Sie," implying that Jews, as well as Christians, *choose* the second-person *informal* pronoun to address God! It is not a coincidence and it is pretty amazing when you think about it. (Or at least when I think about it.) I have absolutely no knowledge of Arabic, so I don't know what the third major Abrahamic religion does there, but maybe @Sabres Fan in NS can chime in.

Back in the day when video game franchises were proliferating ("Joe Montana Football," "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out," "Magic Johnson's Fast Break," etc.) I really wanted one named "Buffalo Sabres Dump-n-Chase Hockey." What is it with this team and the dump and chase?! It's like it's in a DNA pattern or something.

Cozens is the one who already is there, I think. I am opening my mind a bit on Mittelstadt--I haven't demanded a trade in a while--but while the Sabres need C depth, they need D depth more, and if the right trade is there, they should take it. @MarvinSavoie's disappointing appearance in the Calder semifinals (and yes I am aware of the BN opinion piece stating that it was unfair to paradrop him in there--which is one of the reasons why I asked whom he was replacing in the Rochester game threads)--does mean that the Sabres need to pay a little more attention to C depth, though. I can acknowledge that, too.

I am the most casual Bandits fan you can imagine, but I do like Buffalo teams and I am glad when they succeed, whether it be St Bonaventure making the NCAA basketball tournament, or Niagara hockey doing well, or whatever. For those of you who are Bandits diehards, I am so happy. You supported this team, went to games, some of you subscribed to streaming packages, all that. And I am very, very happy for you!
