  1. Let's make good use of this info, folks!
  2. It's official: UB men's basketball has more wins than the Sabres.
  3. Tell me how many teams with 5--it will be 6, if Housley is fired--coaches in 6 years are successful. You were wrong 10 years ago and don't want to admit it, I get that. But you're still wrong today if you think a revolving door is the answer.
  4. But when and where remain a mystery because the NWHL can't get a real website together...
  5. There is no such player this year and I'd rather the confidence.
  6. And let us look at Trotz. Fired by one team that was just *this close* to a Cup, and not extended by another, with which he WON the Cup. I'm not saying Housley's the answer and I'm not saying he isn't, but, again, beware the revolving door.
  7. Fewer goals should mean less money. At one point, he was on pace for 50--a benchmark, however artificial, that commands a higher salary. Right now he's on pace for 41.
  8. Have you gotten your first "bless your heart" yet?
  9. Most scorers are streaky. This particular streak is helping the Sabres in negotiations.
  10. I agree with your last sentence but I don't think there's a lot that Milwaukee does better than other cities, either!
  11. Gotta agree with Aud and Pie here. The glam difference is huge and the choices are vastly greater in TO. But I'd really like to know what you can do in Milwaukee that you can't do in Toronto (or Buffalo for that matter).
  12. There is a noticeable difference taking the Maple Leaf or Empire Service train eastbound rather than westbound. Eastbound, the service originates in Toronto or Niagara Falls, and the trains are clean when you board. Westbound, the trains originate in New York City, and by the time you board in Central New York, the New Yorkers who have disembarked have left bottles, wrappers, newspapers, and other detritus EVERYWHERE. I realize that they live in a debris-filled nightmare, but must they recreate that effect everywhere they go?
  13. And Toronto is an hour and a half from Buffalo. And Milwaukee isn't really that amazing, nor is KC, Pittsburgh, etc. Even Philly, large as it is, is boring AF.
  14. Glad that business called and I didn't have to see the debacle. Not surprised that it was a debacle.
  15. I don't think I knew that. What a horrible thing. After further research, you are correct. I'll try to edit the title. Nope, can't edit the title. Mods please help. Thanks.
  16. I had no idea that he had a daughter. I know we don't necessarily love him here, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone.
  17. Dammit I thought that there was a goal and that the TV in my hotel was behind or something. Alas, no.
  18. What was that Sheary / Rodrigues clown show a moment ago all about?
  19. This entire game appears to have been intentionally left blank. Both teams are playing uninspired hockey even though one of them is fighting for a playoff spot.
  20. The basis of virtually every mystery story/novel since Doyle started writing them. I agree with you. And this is one very interesting possible explanation and possible conclusion.
  21. Unfortunately I find myself with an hour to kill, so I'll have the game on.
  22. Not as embarrassing as the situation is for Pittsburgh though.
  23. I LOVED it. And while I won't look for it, I'll bet there are a ton of Leavers crying on hfboards and reddit and whatever.
