  1. Ah, got it. I read the French version as Montreal management saying that if the kids are all right in the head, they don't need Pommer. This is an even more optimistic approach. It's smart.
  2. Interesting. So Montreal only wants him for leadership abilities?
  3. Beasley is supposed to catch that ball and especially is not supposed to bump it volleyball style.
  4. You want a 12-4 season like the Bears had last year or no? And no, it wasn't all Khalil Mack.
  5. He's everything we want Allen to be. Not if you love defensive football, and I do. The penalties have sucked, though.
  6. And I thought it was going to be worth something. Ah well.
  7. Is that a real autograph of John Sinclair?
  8. I know I read a The Athletic article that held this theory.
  9. Mitch Marner has ruined this off-season. Oh, I do not accord any reliability to the tweet. I just saw one is all.
  10. It even may have been the same tweet for all I know. A friend forwarded it to me.
  11. I read a tweet this morning suggesting that the Wings and Sabres are close to Ristolainen-Mantha straight up, if that helps.
  12. That is one goofy-looking personal aesthetic.
  13. New England had the third most rushing attempts in the league last year.
  14. "Random draft order..."
  15. It's the best mobile setup I've seen! Certainly miles ahead of nfl.com.
  16. That, and actress Pam Dawber from "Mork and Mindy" ordered a pizza from your restaurant.
  17. Six wins.
  18. He will.
  19. If they don't use that cap space immediately, I'm going to be annoyed about the McCoy move.
  20. She hasn't been in the workforce long enough to have heard that one too many times. And where was that when I was a cashier? Don't remember hearing it. I think I just got a cranky one.
  21. It doesn't sit well with a lot of people. I mean, the table thing is amusing and all if I'm watching it online, but I don't want or need to be around that level of wasted and never did.
  22. I think that's different, though. That's a nature-oriented trip and I think it's great.
  23. Oh. ? I guess if I didn't want to interact with anyone, I'd just go to a seminary or something.
  24. This is not an unreasonable viewpoint. I like bars. It's a way to let loose, talk a bit, watch a game a bit, and--to me, most importantly--observe. Bars are just so full of life. There have been nights where I've nursed two drinks for four hours just to watch it all. (When I was younger, or, more recently, when @Weave and I went for a bourbon session, I may have been the watched, rather than the watcher.) One of my favorite things on a weekend is to solve the NYT puzzle while having a drink or two. One of my other favorite things is to have a drink or two and observe obnoxious Bills fans. Hunting season almost is open! But nothing is for everybody, and if it isn't for you, hey. Good.
