Two things have been constant for 50 years. The players have changed; the colors have changed; the owners, the rules, the equipment, even the arenas have changed. But they've never won a Cup, and Rip always has been there.

Even Arena League had uniforms that looked more professional than those.

New Jersey is coming off a hard OT loss (home against Winnipeg) from a couple of hours ago. Right now, they're probably on an airplane, and likely won't get to their hotel rooms until about 2am. This is the type of game that a playoff caliber team, at home and with rest, would win.

It just seems that way because they haven't won at home in two years.

I could handle that, but right now, we have Perreault imitating Elvis after home wins, and that is infinitely better. I'm still waiting for Low Bridge, Everybody Down. EDIT: I suppose the Perreault thing happens about five minutes after the game ends. Having a little Warren Zevon right at the horn would work for me.
