There are about 55 or so counties where we don't call ourselves that.
-
Then New York can't be expected to "repay," either.

This shouldn't have made me laugh the way it did.

Keene right now is the center of an anarchist movement that is neither left nor right, but certainly is loony and definitely is not granola-y. (I actually thought you had written "not" rather than "neat" in your post and thought I was agreeing with you.)
-
DEFINITELY not Keene!

Speculation: Small Market NHL Teams Could Fold, Sabres are one of them
Eleven replied to Theana745's topic in The Aud Club
And that's just TV viewers in the US. When we're looking at the gate--which we are, in this thread---we have to consider all those fans who live very close to Buffalo but don't count in the ratings only because there's a river in between them and the team. -
I don't think Grier was a pest or an enforcer. He was in an earlier poll question.
-
That's because you, Promo, and the other seven people who are permanent residents are somewhat responsible. (Seriously, though, NH has nowhere near the infrastructure needs that Florida and Texas do.) I know which side of the question I'd put my money on.

It plays well. New York, and other states wherein citizens responsibly pay taxes, constantly subsidize states with no income tax, because those states are bigger drains on federal funds. Especially when natural disasters hit and, as usual, they are unprepared. I have no problem getting some of our own back. I do have a problem with Texas and Florida constantly sucking us dry.

I went with Barnaby but Varada was a very, very close second.

That house is beautiful.

YOU'RE a presentation tool if you think I'm going to tell Jan about this.

Wall-Mart gets what it pays for. Agreed that it isn't the girl's fault. But people with more appropriate language abilities are not going to settle for how Wall-Mart treats and pays its employees if they can find better jobs.

Brad May was much more than a fighter. If I want a fighter, I'm taking Ray or Playfair. If I am building a team, I'm taking May.

I've seen it too many times. It's a pattern. And it is destructive and offensive, and perhaps lazy. I'm going to try to stay off of SS for the rest of today.

I don't settle. I demand hockey board poetic perfection.

Prediction for Dem VP candidate?
Eleven replied to Eleven's topic in The Oval Office (Politics)'s Topics
Warren would absolutely kill any chance. Harris probably wouldn't, but there is no reason to pick her or anyone else from California. This is about as obtuse as a guy who locks both sets of books in the same safe. I don't think progressives like Warren. Otherwise, you are right on. -
I so wanted this to be a haiku.

That's nice. The border still is closed. There will be no NHL games in New Hampshire, New Brunswick, or New Zealand.

No one is calling you a liar. Do you really not see it?

PSE Announces Numerous Layoffs in Management Positions
Eleven replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
How lovely. You wrecked the team, Larry. You're not wrong. Quinn would know me by face but not name. The head of ticket sales? No, would not have recognized me. Why would he/she? That said, I do not think the Sabres do much for their STHs, and that goes back to the Rigas situation if not before. There are fewer and fewer, too. -
No kidding. Liger wasn't wrong about the blind spot.
-
A name already was mentioned.

It didn't work as intended after 9/11 and it's not going to work now. But it will buy some votes. I think it's nice of those of you who are donating.

There are some good choices. IMO it's Miller, but cases can be made for an awful lot of others. The Sabres traditionally were blessed with superior goaltending. So, your thoughts?
