That's like one fifth of the population!

Not just the CDC, either. We were definitely encouraged to save the masks for people who truly needed them. Which is why none of us have any masks in the face of a requirement (in NYS) to wear them beginning tomorrow. Yes, I know we can wear scarves instead. You sure about that?

Correct

Ah, Wizard of Oz. A true classic. Shocking.

Botterill had been GM for less than two months then. We were more hopeful. -
Report: NHL to potentially return in North Dakota in August
Eleven replied to Theana745's topic in The Aud Club
Well, three teams are located in a state (this one) that just extended its shutdown to May 15, three more are in a state that probably isn't opening soon (California), and seven are located in a country that isn't going to reopen its border with the US, so I don't see it happening in May. EDIT: Did someone just edit the thread title to include "in August"? That wasn't there before. -
Houle and Gratton are my guesses. EDIT: I guessed without reading dudacek's post beforehand.

No, that's Francis from Stripes.

I know. Your wife live-streamed it.

I can get behind that.

Whether you're tired of it or not, it still was Quinn's fault that 23 and 48 left. Regier probably should have just resigned in protest, honestly. His career was at a high point then and he would have been offered a GM job just about anywhere.

Yeah, I don't understand this. I'm alone in an enclosed space. No need for a mask. Heck, there's barely a need for pants.
-
Just tape it to the next toe for a while. It will heal that way. Source: I've done it twice. Buy the new coffee maker. Then MacGyver the old one into some sort of device that can destroy the world or something, and hold the world hostage for (touches finger to cheek) one MILLION dollars?

It wasn't a thing from the start because the state didn't want us buying up masks and depriving those who really need them. That was the right move. But now we don't have the masks that we're supposed to wear. My understanding is that anything covering the mouth and nose is ok.

I don't know who Regier blames for the loss of Drury and Briere, but I blame Quinn. How could you not? As for the development pipeline, that is solidly on Regier.
-
OK the first part is on Quinn and we all know it. Regier isn't necessarily my choice, by the way. He made some neat trades, and even some brilliant trades. I think it would have been interesting to give Murray more time. Note, I said interesting; I didn't say he was great. But I'm not sold on the concept that he was garbage.

No.

Liger, this is the point that you repeatedly are missing. No one wants him gone. It's a question of cost.

PSE Announces Numerous Layoffs in Management Positions

Insolvency and illiquidity are very, very different things. I know that every hook you can, you'll hitch to, in order to complain about the Pegulas. I'm still not sure why. Is it because you can't buy the team? Neither can any of the rest of us. They did what every other business is doing right now. Actually, they did it later than many. (And earlier than many will.) -
Anyone who is diagnosed as terminal would jump at it. France, duh.

$2M or very slightly higher. Not $4M (I know you are not the person who suggested that).

I'm no M. Shamalyad...screw it, I can't spell it and I'm not looking it up.

I love cooking. I loathe cooking for one. And I can't find steak or wild mushrooms or exotic greens--three of the ingredients in their freaking amazing steak sandwich--in Buffalo right now. Naptime. The sign of a good meal.
