All I need is the list of people who played last year and I can set up a new one.
-
That is an explanation--but the league surely reserved time slots for games that already were scheduled for today, right?
-
Today's games are scheduled for 6pm, 8pm, and 1030pm Eastern. How stupid can the NHL get?
-
Hi Swamp! Lindy is alive, well, the most successful coach we've ever seen in Buffalo, and headed to an arena near you in Jersey.
-
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
-
The Islanders can't believe how good the Islanders look.
-
If this turns out to be a difficulty for Derrico, I can just start a new league.
-
It turns out that the FBI found him. He was wandering around in Kansas with barbecue sauce all over his shirt. He'll be back soon.
-
Bracket is messssssssed up.
-
Of course you commented on that, and not the point. And what is the first word in the well-known maxim about "strange bedfellows?" But you won't self-censor, I'll bet.
-
Me too. My bracket, not so much.
-
Not what this is about though.
-
Alphabetically.
-
I generally agree, but the Sabres had success under Golisano somehow.
-
I really want to watch that Boston-Tampa Bay game but I know I'm going to miss at least the first period. Hopefully it's on the radio--I mean real, over-the-air radio.
-
Here's the thing. I really don't care whether the Pegulas are "nice people" to work for. I know that Tom Golisano wasn't. I know Paul Snyder (Braves) wasn't and isn't. I don't know about the Rigases or Knoxes. As long as the Pegulas don't turn out to be Dan Snyder, all I care about is whether the team operations work well.
-
Yet, when I google "cup and char," the results are all about how it's becoming a trend in NYC.
-
I didn't set it up. @Derrico if you're well enough, can you let me know what's up? I can just start a new league, too, if that's what's needed.
-
All I learned from googling that is that NYC will call it their own in five years.

ยท 16h Marchand on "not bringing politics" into sports: "That's one thing people continually mix up. ... That's not what this is about. We're not being political. "It's about people being equal and being treated the same."
-
"Race relations" is a highly divisive and inflammatory topic? Do you not see the problem here? "First they came ..."
-
The cup and char is thick, though. If you look at heathen NYC pizza, the pepperoni is really thin and flat. I don't know how it's done, but it isn't because it's thin. And Bocce is the best pizza on Earth.

Sabrespace currently has two mods and one owner. One of the mods has a clear bias (freeman, I like you, I really do, but this is not something you are good at); the other is really busy with her life. I'd like to propose that the board adds two more. And my candidates would be: @Thorny and @MattPie These are posters who have proven themselves (1) to be knowledgeable about hockey, (2) Sabres fans, (3) politically neutral, and, most importantly, (4) temperate in their responses to others, I don't know if they'd want the job, but I would welcome them if they did.
-
I don't know why Flagg and True left, even if they did. But "Hoss" did not leave because of politics.
-
"It shouldn't be a political stance ... It's doing what's right." Kevin Shattenkirk, in The Athletic, today. It is NOT about politics, @nfreeman Your embarrassment at the results of your favorite party being elected does NOT mean that everything else is political.
