  1. 22 years has given me a mastery of equivocal language.
  2. Sorry, but wasn't #1 Beauregard and the fourth round pick? Also, the Briere trade was robbery, and the Drury trade was close to it. Barnes for Barnaby was meh. Not sure I agree with your ranking at all.
  3. Indeed, again not the point.
  4. We'd like to welcome Alaska and Delaware back to The List. https://abc7ny.com/new-york-quarantine-jersey-nj-states/6284542/
  5. Gotta admit, this was on my mind, too.
  6. A few people got on my back when I didn't want the Sabres to draft Bennett solely because of the pull-up thing, but this really is the reason. There's no excuse for an athlete being so completely unprepared.
  7. WTF? I don't think I knew he had cancer.
  8. This also is correct.
  9. It's not just the Pegulas. It's every sports executive ever. Jason Garrett was "safe" in Dallas too. The quote can be fairly interpreted to mean that the Sabres haven't considered *anything* with respect to Montour.
  10. Sure, and Jason Botterill's job was safe and "Lindy's not going anywhere." Note that the quote is not "we will issue a qualifying offer." I'm not saying they are or aren't going to do so, but this quote doesn't establish anything for me.
  11. Yeah this is the right approach.
  12. Very smart move.
  13. If it's anything like my basement was after the storm this weekend, they could just float up.
  14. It's a poke at Bruce Garrioch, the columnist, who is famously unreliable. And Melnyk, same.

    So #8

    Fine with this.
  17. I have a bar of Zest brand soap. Does that count? It's about as close as I'm going to get right now.
  18. You really are running out of creativity, my man.
  19. Pretty sure that neither of them have ever been in labor. Harris never had children of her own, and for Biden, well, that's just ridiculous.
  20. So while considering the bungle that was the trade of Halak for Neuvirth and a player who refused to report a few years ago, I started wondering about the Ryan Miller / Steve Ott trade tree. It doesn't look like it's paying off a whole lot, but I haven't tracked it all the way to the end. In the course of trying to figure it out, I stumbled upon this site: https://twointhebox.com/tag/sabres-trade-trees/ Some interesting stuff. Hasek turned into Jochen Hecht and Kevin Sundher, nothing more. That's where it ends. Meanwhile, Rick Martin's trade tree still is bearing fruit, which is not bad for a guy who died nine years ago.
  21. Actually, it might have been nice for the NHL to allow spouses and children to live in the bubble. Hindsight, though...
  22. Sabres legend Jaroslav Halak to start. Maybe? But after his last post-game press conference, it seems that the problem might be internal.
  23. Tukka Rask just opted out and is headed home.
  24. It is so far. I don't know how much longer I can stay up for it, though. Starting to flag.
  25. It's not just NBCSN. My yahoo scores app was telling me that Columbus won game 1, by a score of 2-2, as of yesterday.
