The former congressman?
-
It *appears* that Yahoo! has made the call, and that Steelers and Titans players will be treated as if they were on a bye week. No word as to what happens if/when they make up the game. It would be wise to bench these players.
-
This is why this thread should be closed.
-
NOT happening. Can we please stop with this?
-
Meaning that they would be bench points for week 4? Just trying to clarify.
-
I don't hate this, but if that player goes on to play two games in one week because of a makeup situation, then where are we? Yes. Someone might need to make their substitution by tomorrow, though.
-
We have problems with two games that will be postponed. The proposal is to play the games on Monday or Tuesday, but who knows if that will happen. I have two ideas on how to address it: 1. Wait until the games eventually are played and adjust the scores accordingly at that time. Problem is, this could be weeks or even never. 2. Not count the opponent's corresponding player. For example, if someone has Juju Smith-Shuster as WR1, their opponent's WR1 counts for 0. Problem is, people will move their normal WR3 to the WR1 spot. I'm open to other suggestions. I'd like to see some sort of consensus before 5pm tomorrow because there is a game tomorrow.

Send over a proposal.

That is a tweet of the year candidate, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm just screwing around.

Conclusion: The USDP sux.

I don't see the fuss. Is it here or somewhere else?

What in the world is going on tonight? This storm is keeping me awake. I'm almost about to find a replay of tonight's game six to help me sleep.

Sabres Acquire Center Eric Staal from Wild for Marcus Johansson
Eleven replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
Folks, there's no way that Kevyn Adams made this trade without running it by Staal first. If they hadn't been teammates, I could see that theory. But they were. -
NBA so far, too. Both leagues did this very well.

Well, it's over. On to the 2020-21 season. Hopefully starting in three weeks. (I know, no way.)
-
Yeah, but the flip side is seeing Tampa win. Nothing other than a controversial series-deciding goal was going to make me happy, here.
-
I can agree with that. Nothing wrong with running someone if all you're going to get is two minutes (or nothing). Sometimes, it can change the course of a team.
-
Don't excuse Dallas for its part in the boredom. And I think the refs sent a signal in the second period about touching the goalie when they penalized Perry. MAybe not, but just IMO. Still, a boring series, for the most part. Hopefully it is over very soon.
-
Stamkos, if Toronto writers have any say.
-
Halfway through the game, Dallas has 7 shots on goal. That includes two powerplays. While, yes, as above, at least they made it to the finals and 29 other teams didn't, this is not a formula for winning hockey.
-
I know that ties count as a loss.
-
Shut the front door....

Dallas does realize that almost always, you need to shoot to score a goal, right? I noticed that on the Tampa goal (the first one, as this thread will continue). It looked like Flyers version of Derian Hatcher back there.

Yeah it's not too nasty.
