On this particular date, too, of all days.

I don't have time to read through the whole thread to see if this is covered, but Chad wrote a subsequent article explaining that he expects the Sabres to come in at $75M or higher.
-
So that's what the phone alert this morning was really about.
-
Wow. Get well, chz!
-
I'm not playing either one with PA.
-
Because every time I see the Seinfeld episode with Mr. Bookman from the library, I still think about it. Liger's cameo was impressive.
-
Like a bonus?
-
A light-hearted reference to our argument about libraries about a decade ago.
-
Are you kidding me? I just googled the score and decided I would watch the OT within the last 60 seconds!
-
I still want every asset, including cap space, directed towards a 2C first.
-
I could see this.

With the exception of Stastny, I don't see what you're trying to do here. Is the goal to just get older at each position? I don't see improvement in either the Letang or Kempny proposals.
-
I assumed you were referring to the Jimmy Breslin book, The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight. Libby is a free app one can use to borrow digital versions of a book from the library. All one needs is a library card and a device. I would bet that @LGR4GM sees it as a portent of evil.

I cannot imagine cottage cheese without canned fruit. Anyway. You, and @Weave are being involuntarily drafted into this: https://www.sabrespace.com/community/topic/28511-hard-luck-league-fantasy-football-aka-taros-league/ Just do it. It won't cost you anything and it will make people happy. @PASabreFan I wouldn't mind seeing your acumen. Goes double for @LGR4GM I will name my team "Cottage Cheese Swamp" if all of you join.

I see that and I immediately back away and try to call someone who knows what all of that stuff is. I think I recognize my first iPhone in there.
-
The second time in three hours that this has been mentioned to me. I'm borrowing it on Libby tomorrow.

Not what I meant. Sometimes, for people with addiction problems, getting away from their regular spots are a good thing. Yes, even if their regular spots were regular only for a year or so.

One per week. Once you pick a team, you can't pick it again for the rest of the season. For example, let's say you pick the Bills to beat the Jets this week. And the Bills win. Terrific! But you can't pick the Bills again for the rest of the survivor game. Next week, you'll be asked to pick another team. Yes. 'Tis the point.

There's the problem. And who knows if he needed a geographical cure.
-
Got it. I'm in the same group. I want the Sabres to move him before the rest of the league figures out that he's a waste of time.
-
Nice call.

No, you won't take the blame for this. This is on me, 100%. Not 99, not 98, 100. Sorry again, @Taro T. I should have been more observant when I was looking at the rosters; I knew Taro wanted to play last month. It is absolutely not Scott's fault. It's mine. Next time you and your beloved (and perhaps offspring thereof) are in town, a round is on me. I really am sorry, Taro.

Wow. Yes, you're worse off at TE. Who the heck is Mike Gesicki? And Greg Olsen is even older than Letang.

100% agree. This is a flaw of the model that has become consistent across all FF platforms. The most important position in football (QB) is devalued, while the most fungible position in football (RB) is over-valued. But hey, ESPN and yahoo and CBS and NFL, etc., well, they know best. So I have to draft Elliott third. I never have played Rotiserrie baseball, but I'm tempted to just to see how a well-regulated system works. NHL fantasy is just as bad. Points for PIM?!
