We've been acting in partnership with Massachusetts and Pennsylvania (and NJ) since nearly the beginning of this. Those teams shouldn't be a problem. Michigan might be, though, now.

I don't remember too much going well in the last several years, but I'll trust you. When I think of powerplays that cycle well, the image that comes to mind is Afinogenov's OT goal against the Rangers.

The Sabres did this so well in the mid-2000s.

I think this team is a lot closer to winning than many observers think. I think this team is a goalie away.

The Sabres are one goaltender away from not being eligible for the draft lottery next year. And that one goaltender may or may not be an improved Ullmark. This team is going to be good, if it ever sees the ice.

This conjures up some disturbing imagery.

I don't know how old you are, but in general, I feel that people who looked at Miller as less than elite grew up on Hasek or otherwise were spoiled by watching him. Miller wasn't Hasek, of course; he wasn't the greatest goalie in NHL history. Fine. He still was elite.

It's been a problem since the Miller trade. It's just that other problems have been more evident. Not that I think it's luxurious to be talking about the problem in net--it's not, and it's unfamiliar territory to Sabres fans who once were spoiled with Vezina winners approximately 25% of the time.

That would be ideal. But I'm not sure the cap room is there.

Goalie has been the position of biggest need since the Staal deal, no question.

I've recovered from surgeries with no pain meds other than OTC stuff, because I can't stand the way opioids make me feel, and I'm no pro athlete. He'll be fine.

This is the end for the Vegas window. Their vets are already complaining about seeing their names attached to trade rumors, and Vegas cannot possibly squeeze everyone in under the cap.

I might be surprised if the Bills do play tomorrow.

I like this signing a lot. Right term, right price.

Subban is with the Blackhawks and they plan to bring him up. If Greiss was willing to go to Detroit, I don't see why he'd be unwilling to come here.
