  1. The eye in your avatar is gold, my man...
  2. One of the first things asked on the websites when registering for a COVID test is whether you're a first responder / in medicine / essential worker, etc., so they can prioritize those people. At least in NYS. I have to think it will be the same when it comes to distributing vaccines.
  3. First of all, screw off, Perreault, for retiring in 1986. You still should be playing and scoring Sabres goals. "I'm too old," blah blah blah. Get off of your duff and get into your skates. Second, what the heck do you think you're doing wearing my number? This isn't for kids. This is for guys who play into their seventies.
  4. Why? Big Ten is to football as white bread with mayonnaise is to food.
  5. The AAC is several steps ahead of the MAC, bucko. They're not close at all. It's like comparing the AHL to the ECHL.
  6. If so, I wonder if they'll just mix it in with the regular flu vaccine (if possible).
  7. Grittney (language NSFW): https://boingboing.net/2020/11/12/meet-grittney-the-sexy-female-gritty-no-one-asked-for.html
  8. There was this, too, on a smaller scale: https://www.wivb.com/news/baltimore-radio-host-speaks-out-after-bills-fans-raise-money-to-alzheimers-association-in-his-name/ And this one: https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2019/04/bills-fans-turn-outrage-into-outreach-donate-8000-to-charity-in-wake-of-voter-fraud.html
  9. Yeah, across the river from NYC is definitely going to be more expensive than in between crop circle and traffic circle.
  10. The IT folks that I have talked with say that it is way too soon for an iPad. An iPhone? That would be about right, according to them.
  11. I'm a little surprised that, where you live, there are circles that are not crop circles, but whatever. Enjoy the crop/traffic circles. Where you live, there are real traffic circles.
  12. Dude, no one who is so unfortunate is able to drive, or perhaps even walk in a city alone.
  13. I have an iPad Air that is less than six years old. Battery lasts about 20 minutes. It goes from 100, to 99, to 98, to off. It recharges to 100 in five minutes or less. No one can explain this phenomenon to me.
  14. Probably because they didn't have a quarter-million-person maskless motorcycle rally in Manitoba.
  15. There are some, umm, curious trades pending. Does every league member have the opportunity to vote or are SDS and I seeing those options because we are (nominally) commissioners?
  16. Do you ever use them to store steaks?
  17. Very interesting--thanks.
  18. Boycotting and tracking? People have been doing it forever. Undermining the democratic process? No, that's special these last five years.
  19. There's not going to be enough doses for people who want it in January. Don't even worry about it.
  20. Oh, that's not at all what I thought you were getting at. I have no problems with most of this; the JRubin person is over the top though. I thought you meant violence, not boycotting or tracking what people are doing to undermine the democratic process. Thanks for clarifying.
  21. Can they just protect 10 (3D, 7F) and not protect a goalie? I suppose there isn't a roster benefit to that, but there might be a cap benefit.
  22. Is there any reward for not protecting a goalie? I.e., would they be able to protect an extra forward or something? It troubles me that I knew the answer to this last time...
  23. Just have one session (morning or afternoon) per week devoted to it, like they do for L/T. Maybe they don't do that anymore? It's been a long time since I was in a town court. But the idea of Mask Court is fun, too. Picture Doug Llewellyn standing outside...
  24. They'll be fine.
