This is fine by me, but you know the NHL wants McDavid on screens in Montreal and Matthews on screens in Vancouver.

1. The Sabres already pay for the on-air personalities and the crew, from what I understand. 2. I pay $14 - ish for Netflix, $6 for Hulu, and would pay, what is it, about $15 / mo for NHL? That's a far, far cry from what cable costs.
-
Maybe? It doesn't really matter what I think anyway. I'm following the rules.

It would be if I could watch my favorite team on it. Someday, the league is going to figure this out. Spectrum or DirecTV pays MSG a few bucks per month, a fraction of which ends up in the NHL's pocket. So let's say the NHL gets about $1 per month per subscriber. $12/year. Think of how much more money the league would make if it told MSG to go screw itself with the blackouts, took less money from MSG, and marketed its streaming service with no blackouts. Presumption is that ad revenue remains constant across all distribution channels.

Can we get a schedule up in here already, Gary?

I don't want to put words in his mouth but I'm pretty sure Woody isn't arguing in favor of a total lockdown. I think his point is that people are going to catch it with or without a lockdown. I am increasingly of that opinion myself, but I won't even pretend to have scientific expertise; I'm just an average jerk on the Internet.

Even as recently as the late 80s / early 90s, teams played in-division 8 times per year.
-
It's so irritating that they do this. Hopefully, the league someday realizes that it would make more money by not having blackouts on streaming services than it makes by agreeing to the blackouts for the benefit of regional sports networks, and moves forward.

I'll gladly take the Bills win over the Oculus I was going to buy if I won it all.

He's old enough to have formed this opinion, which I share, and I DEFINITELY am old enough.

In my money league, we're in the second round of the playoffs. First seed, too. And the other guy had to start Josh Allen against my A-A-Ron Rodgers.

If it's the same one that made the news yesterday, BBC reported that it can be treated with the two vaccines already in use.

DItto.

I think they can do so at their own expense if they want to, no? Plus, at ELC age it's probably no bother to them to have roomies.

When Cheers has a song about those countries, I'll let you know. -

It borders on the Adriatic. It is mostly mountainous, and its chief export is chrome. -
No, that is not what it is for. And no one is talking about "sides" except you. There is plenty of government incompetence/dishonesty/corruption everywhere in the world regardless of politics, there always has been, and there always will be. If it is affecting treatment of the pandemic, people naturally are going to discuss it.

It gets to a special level of stupid sometimes. Without cultural appropriation, we never would have had Seiji Ozawa conducting a Beethoven symphony in Boston, would we? That said, a haka before a hockey game in NA isn't going to happen and shouldn't happen. The closest the Sabres came to a "pre-game statement" was entering the rink to "Street Fighting Man," and they did pretty well with that.

In the particular cases of ECMC and NFMMC, the vaccines were shipped, but to the wrong systems (Kaleida and Catholic Health, respectively).

Vaccines intended for ECMC and NFMMC were sent to the wrong hospital systems.

I don't know--I anticipated that Zamboni was asking the question to address your MSG concern. Those of us in WNY can't get Sabres games through Center Ice because of a blackout.
-
He's in Atlanta. So Center Ice should work.
