The Sabres waived Jason Pominville once. Ended up playing over 1000 NHL games. I'm not going to let whether a guy was on waivers be the determining factor.
I can say in two words why this game went to OT despite Buffalo having MUCH better talent. NJ forechecked, had better entry, had better defense, but Buffalo had better players.
The two words: L___ R___
The "real conservatives" give into the "far right," though, every time, which pulls the progressives toward the center (Pelosi--she is not a liberal, not even a moderate one). It ends up being two.
Needs to be a Barkley / Peterson level of talent for a RB to be a sensible pick in the first round, and even then, it needs to be a team with almost all needs already addressed.
Disagree. I disagree less with a loss--I'm as sick of "good-looking losses" as the next person--but a good-looking win? Awesome, and better than a bad-looking win. From what I saw tonight, which, again, was limited, this was a good-looking win.
I saw all of the first period, and, despite the score at the end (and the Sabres' lack of effort at the end), Buffalo absolutely carried that period. I saw the beginning of the second and the end of the third and I feel the same way.
Yeah, that's how they're going to get Laine from C-bus.
