Pay attention.

Either Grecian Formula really works (yes, please!) or this is a nicely photoshopped pic.
-
It should. He's the best stay-at-home defenseman on the team.

There's a whole thread on it

I think I want to see them start a fight. I normally don't love fighting for the sake of it, but this team needs it.
-
That guy who celebrates wildly in the end zone when he scores his team's first touchdown to make it 21-6 with 7 minutes left? I usually make fun of him. Nothing wrong with a businesslike fist-bump when you know there's still a lot of work to do.

Definitely. I have problems with Rumore and the BTF, but not with teachers as a group. Teachers should be allowed to be vaccinated before they are required to go back into classrooms.
-
Ok, I should have used the plural.

This is one heck of a vacation you're on...

Again, we are drifting far from the subject, but it is not only parents who pay school taxes. Especially for NYS's five largest school districts, one of which is Buffalo. I pay taxes that fund schools because I don't want to live in a society of uneducated people. I don't have children. That's kind of rather REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT. I also think you're confusing the purpose of the BTF with the purpose of teachers. Anyway. Back to COVID?

Biron today (I am paraphrasing): Just wreck it and rebuild again. It's been ten years, what's the difference if it's another two or three? I am having a very hard time disagreeing.

I don't expect The Instigators to understand sports psychology. In fact, I don't expect Peters to be able to add his uniform numbers together and come up with anything other than 15,* or maybe he just refuses to add and comes up with 76. Rivet, I do think, could do basic addition. I do know that for the first time I've heard, Marty Biron had some strong words for the team. He's not a believer anymore. Perhaps he realizes that he's got a better future at RDS than he does with MSG/WGR. (He'd likely be correct.) Now, to the point. If Kruger thinks the problem is mental, then he needs to fix the problem. The whole point in hiring him was that he is supposedly some Svengali motivator, right? So if he can't do his Mesmer act, then what's the point of having him here? Certainly, it isn't because he can put lines together or evaluate defensemen. *Yes, it's wrong; that's the point.

Has any parent actually said that?! But we are drifting from the subject.
-
They very well may have given up on Bylsma too quickly. If what I heard about Murray is true, he basically fired himself.
-
I do, but he's with his wife and they're both appropriately clothed.
-
MSG is replaying the game right now in case anyone wants to watch it again.
-
The points were (1) firing him wouldn't fix anything and (2) the team might find itself stuck in a revolving door situation with coaches. The search functionality here isn't great, but I'm confident that those were my positions ten years ago.
-
I'll put Ruff, Trotz and Tortorella there, and that's just off of the top of my head. Maybe you'd call them colicky instead.
-
Not the point and not my strawman.
-
It's been nine years. Firing him didn't fix anything. Let it go.

That wasn't his avatar. That was a personal photo. Not everyone can afford to pose for boudoir pics.

Definitive proof that there is Seinfeld for EVERYTHING:

I'm done. Today was game 82. That's the equivalent of a full season. His "system," if it even is one, is a failure. Even his power play, which is progressive by NHL standards, is horrible. I don't think Adams will fire him during COVID but I do think Adams should do so. A friend said yesterday, "I really like the guy, but..." and my response was "yeah, he'd probably make a good Secretary of State, but not a hockey coach." Done with him. Whatever remains of Team Storm Cloud, remember that I was right then and know that I'm right now.
