It's the front page of TSN's website right now.

Nah. You had it right the first time--it was a long exit interview. If the team wouldn't "put him on," he could just hold his own press conference some other time or give an interview to the sportswriter of his own choosing.

And we're cutting to One Bills Live...why?
-
This is a big part of the problem. If only they had put that C on O'Reilly, you know?

Jack said basically as much when Benigni gave him the opportunity to clarify....lots of guys need to think about their futures.

Hamilton with one of his patented minute-long preambles to a question...

@Brawndo's updates are about three minutes ahead of my feed on WGR's website

What happened with them? I listened to Skinner and that seemed fine.

I'm never going to be pissed about a coach's preferred coffee. Where is this post supposed to go?

The Sabres drafted a Millar. I don't think he ever played for Buffalo.
-
Yeah, that had me laughing, too. Maybe the Sabres should put up a "had a cup of coffee" banner for him or something.

Joseph R. Biden, Your Thoughts On His Presidency

He's starting to get on my nerves with some of this infrastructure spending stuff. We don't have a lot of extra money right now, Joe. And I love trains as much as you do, but the market has spoken and most people seem to prefer to fly or drive. -
Yeah I'm putting Miller in at 43. I instantly knew which site you were relying on; shame that we can't count on what should be the definitive source.

The Sabres Alumni page is outdated. Hasek was inducted in 2014. 43 people for a 50+year old team seems about right to me. It's just the local team HoF; it isn't supposed to be THAT selective. Horton is always problematic for me but I think the move would be never to issue the number again, but not to hang it in the rafters.
-
Yeah, I don't know what other teams do...I've been in a fair amount of arenas, stadiums, and the like and I can't really think of any local team hall of fame other than Monument Park. The Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame is in the Arena (next to the Sabres Store) and it would be nice to have an accessible Sabres HoF. I don't think that I would pay to see it, though. It seems like the sort of thing that I would spend about ten minutes looking at.

It's in the dressing room hallway and fans have been rightfully clamoring for it to be moved to Main St. for a lot longer than the Pegulas have owned the team.
-
Sabres Hall of Fame and sabre presentation is sufficient.

It's never too late to stop making mistakes.

The standard shouldn't be Rick Martin and Danny Gare, is the point. See also: http://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?page=hruby/100301_lamest_team_banners

Exactly. Let's not compound the error.

Phrasing...

Please no. The Sabres retire numbers way too cheaply.
-
That is very kind; thank you.
-
That is very kind of you. I won't speak for Charlie, but from my perspective, you need better taste.

You should see what he says about you in private messages. He doesn't send them to me, but he does send them to Thorny, and then Thorny shares them with the rest of us in the group chat that we have about you.
