  1. So Boston didn't have a third-round pick to give to the Sabs?
  2. Terry Pegula had nothing to do with this and Kevyn Adams is disappointing me for the ninetieth time this month.
  3. Yeah, that's kind of consistent with my point.
  4. The last third-round Sabres pick that was a "hit," and I am using that loosely, was McNabb, in 2009. Twelve years ago. Before him, you have to look at Afinogenov and maybe Sheppard.
  5. No, it isn't. They can give up a good prospect if they want Hall and don't have a 2021 first. Hall is a hot commodity and the Sabres must treat him like such.
  6. Great. I'll be sixty when he's a starter.
  7. You put that together and couldn't use "Jordanian"?
  8. If a third round pick even is part of the return, there will be murder.
  9. Screw him, and his weird name, and his weird face. Spell your name like you say it, already. EDIT: In case he couldn't get more plastic-paddy Southie than I thought, he actually married a woman yclept Jordan Sullivan. Geez.
  10. They're a clever bunch....
  11. I understand what you're saying but I just can't stand draft picks after the first round as a trade return. Makes me crazy. Also, Irwin can be tied to a stone and thrown into Lake Erie. (Ok, that might be a bit severe. A bit.)
  12. One of the idiots said that the Flyers got a point. How would that even be possible in a two goal loss?
  13. Because the 3 likely will not materialize into anything. I'd take a player for Rochester over that BS pick, which likely will be a player for Rochester IN TWO YEARS.
  14. He absolutely should have been. I don't want to see him in Rochester ever again.
  15. I've yelled "Come on, Dahlin" enough times now that people think I'm imitating Dexy's Midnight Runners. WTF. Is he hungover or something?
  16. What did they do against the AHL Devils Thursday?
  17. Good thing the Sabres have plenty of third-round picks.
  18. Why does it feel like the Sabres have played 80% of their games on the road?
  19. After the second day of the bar exam, my father drove me downtown so that I could party with some friends (one of whom drove me back). He stopped at the zoo, right near the giraffes. He asked, "I've been wondering, how do giraffes *****?" Since I was anxious to blow off some steam after seven weeks of doing nothing but studying, I got him to move on. But the question still bothers me to this day.
  20. Consider that Montour is an everyday NHL player. Consider how often a third-round pick turns into an everyday NHL player. So it's a steal.
