  1. This is getting weird. Microfiche is flat. It's a single sheet with multiple images. You move the reader on an X by Y axis over the image you want to see. Microfilm is on a roll. (Preferably Kaiser, because I don't like all of the salt that's on a Kummelweck roll.) Also, @PASabreFan, since you brought up Seinfeld, did you know that Jason Alexander and Howard Simon are cousins? I just learned that on Wednesday. I'll bet Jason brags about that all the time at parties.
  2. Nope, not happening for me today. I can't stand all of the gunk that those sites leave on my computer.
  3. Trying to find it now at the local sports bar.
  4. Yes. Microfiche is flat and microfilm is on a roll.
  5. La Nova puts almond slivers on the Hawaiian, too, no?
  6. I never heard of these until you posted. Then I saw one at the gas station yesterday. Bought it. It isn't bad.
  7. Not available in the US. Probably means that it's on NHL Network.
  8. Ah, gotcha.
  9. Owen Parker is undrafted invite to rookie camp territory.
  10. Not really an order of magnitude in the difference there, is it?
  11. Yes. Seriously. If I'm a GM trading Jack Eichel to the frozen tundra, I am getting Connor Hellebuyck in the deal, or I'm not making the trade; there are 30 other teams I can trade with.
  12. You people. Peanut butter belongs in a sandwich with jam or jelly. Not in some chocolate "cup."
  13. I said nothing about straight up. If Greenland wants Buffalo's best player, I want Greenland's in return, is all. It can be jiggered. But not Laine or any other of the slim sticks un in Nunavut.
  14. You definitely weren't reading Tropic of Capricorn in fifth grade. Or you shouldn't have been, anyway. The Tropic of Capricorn thing is a reference to Seinfeld.
  15. Doesn't matter. I'm not even necessarily talking about the Sabres.
  16. ^ If you had your choice between Reinhart at 5x7 or Ovechkin at 3x7.5, what do you choose?
  17. Ok. All of these threads are premised upon Eichel being traded. We're exploring possible returns. It's unnecessary to guess whether he will or will not be traded in each thread. Winnipeg? I want Hellebuyck coming back.
  18. I stop in now and again and I borrow novels virtually. Is there something you need?
  19. Done with fubo. My link to the Canadiens game kept directing me to the two Florida teams, which I don't care about. Also, it wouldn't let me watch the Minnesota game, because it only displays "todays" games, and we all know that every hockey game ends at 11:59pm Eastern. Gonna try sling next per @SwampD even though he lives in New Jersey and therefore inherently is untrustworthy.
  20. Looks like NHL.tv is moving to ESPN+ for next season and there isn't a way to purchase the rest of this post-season. So I'll stick with fubo for a month, or switch to sling, and see what happens next season.
  21. That might be the solution. I may not be in Buffalo next season, so I'm going to need a more permanent solution.
  22. Are you vaccinated? If you are, you have the odds you want.
  23. Looking for something legal...
  24. Bumping this. I'm looking for a decent option for the rest of the playoffs, and possibly for next season. I'm on a free trial of fubo.tv right now, but at $70 per month with a billion channels, well, that's just cable by another name as far as I'm concerned. I don't need any of this other crap; I just want NHL Does the league offer a solution? (My initial search really didn't reveal one.) Is there anything else? The Fubo trial expires in six days and the FU part will be the important part of the name as far as I'm concerned.
