  1. 158 posts in 15 years, about 150 of which seem to be in the COVID thread. Take it for what it's worth.
  2. Is it really forcing? Child is a minor and you make the medical decisions.
  3. I'm glad my niece (12) is vaccinated.
  4. Thought you were with NPR?
  5. That was Johnny Fever. (Howard Hesseman.) An absolute classic. Because it was a fictional television show and not real-life NPR in New Hampshire.
  6. I'm missing a stream for this one, but from the score it looks ok. Every guy who was a boy in 1980 is rejoicing. Let's see 19-0.
  7. Just rest. The NCAA has been stupid for a long time. I'd rather more scholarships for future scientists and leaders and fewer for guys who can catch a ball but not do much else. These are supposed to be educational institutions, and our taxes fund them. There really is no need for a nationally-funded and state-funded training camp for football and basketball players.
  8. Nope. Just the R.
  9. Yeah? Well YOU don't appear to be an official, franchise-licensed Aud smell. So there.
  10. MLB shouldn't be gimmicky. BTW I stumbled across this, this morning: https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/13778435/uni-watch-friday-flashback-baseball-turns-ahead-clock-1999
  11. But he knows the people who are in-the-know, Swamp.
  12. This is just factually incorrect. Nothing "stopped" in October 2014. Multiple buildings have gone up since. Many restaurants have opened and closed since. I don't think you're connected with in-the-know people either; I would know if you were. Enjoy the Ohio of the South.
  13. Loving all of the "Vegas in 3" memes I saw on reddit last week.
  14. You live in Charlotte or some such place. There is nothing in the business district there, either. Except for chain restaurants. And nothing, anywhere in the world, has been redone in the last two years. I hinted at it upthread, maybe you're not picking up on it, but there was this world-wide pandemic thing. You are not enhancing your return to Sabrespace by spouting nonsense about Buffalo, especially when you don't know anything about it anymore. I only remember two of those, you old man. (I just wasn't into football in 1980. It still was all hockey for me back then.) EDIT: Oh, wait, was that the Ferguson v Chargers year? I remember that!
  15. 1. You seem to be forgetting the arena, the stadium, and the theaters. 2. There's more to do in downtown Buffalo's business district than in that of many other cities, even cities considerably larger than Buffalo. You just don't know about it unless you live here.
  16. Get well #14!
  17. Yes.
  18. From the team's perspective, I think it is the only factor. From Eichel's perspective, well, I wonder if he is using the insistence upon surgery to try to get away.
  19. Yeah, it's been like sixteen months since something new downtown opened. Wonder why.
  20. They won the division in one of them, and made the playoffs in another.
  21. I think you're right, even though he has more bargaining power than Eichel has.
  22. *Before* Sunday if it's "within the week"; before next Friday if he said or meant to say "within a week."
  23. “He would be in my top 5 most difficult players to deal with. He is not a very nice person.... He always seems like he’s in a growly mood no matter who he’s dealing with. I’ve seen him be extremely rude with team personnel also.” --This is according to another board. Here is the interview: https://www.sportsnet.ca/650/peoples-show/paul-hamilton-canucks-linked-sam-reinhart-possible-sabres-moves/
  24. Perfect for a non-major league team.
