  1. Rush or Genesis: which is worse? They both have created crimes against humanity through their "music." but which is worse?
  2. So you found @Brawndo's twitter account.
  3. I hate to read it, but you're right.
  4. 1. There has been nothing "nice and inviting" about it at all for eighteen months; we have been trying to work with you. 2. I'd bet anything that if we count states that border Canada, we've got a higher percentage. Yes, even including Montana, Idaho, and Dakota.
  5. I swear, you people on that island just make these things up as you go along to confuse North Americans.
  6. If that's what you'e got, I'm done. Actually, were I wiser, I would have been done much earlier. I don't know where you came from, but I don't think you're bringing a lot here.
  7. No one here thought Mark Mancari was worth a thought. What?!
  8. It's Adam, not Adams; he was not on an NHL All-Star Team or even in an all-star game (these are different); and even if he had been, it would not mean that most Sabres fans saw him as the next star player (or whatever verbiage you used earlier)--most of us didn't. I was on this board back then, too, and I do not remember a huge amount of enthusiasm for Luke Adam. The biggest discussion we ever had about Luke Adam here was when Ruff tried to murder him during a practice.
  9. No RIP for Charlie Finley?
  10. Luke Adam never was "the next big thing."
  11. Yes, but probably not anytime soon and probably not because of the coffee.
  12. Yeah maybe I've been spending too much time reading Canadian subreddits.
  13. Yeah, I don't blame you. But the Canadian failure to manufacture/obtain vaccines (this was a thing a few months ago) isn't our fault and yet we were blamed. I have to turn the eyelids to the down position now. Love ya bud.
  14. I always have been of this opinion (it is on record here), but... if a player dies while on a team, no one wears that number ever. It doesn't merit a banner, but no one should wear 2.
  15. 1. It is a reply to a few posts above that I didn't bother quoting. 2. It reflects Canada's attitude towards America over the last eighteen months. Or, at least, my perception of it. We miss you and we would like to think that you miss us, as well.
  16. Canada really needs to pull it together. Geez. Americans aren't safe. Americans aren't vaccinated. Americans are vaccinated but we aren't. We don't have enough vaccines because Americans. We have vaccines now. Americans are vaccinated but we aren't. We might be vaccinated but not enough Americans are vaccinated. Whiskey tango foxtrot.
  17. He was ok. He wasn't what we could consider a franchise QB and it had nothing to do with Al Davis. Plunkett won 2, ffs.
  18. They didn't elect him to the HOF during his lifetime for a reason. He wasn't great. When the league needed some press, they elected him.
  19. If fans are sensitive about Miller's number, they are silly. He is NOWHERE in range of number retirement. (But Lafointaine and Gare...I know.)
  20. 32 would aggravate fans? Why? Because of Rob Ray? Doubt it. And 39 is retired. I was there and still have the little pennant thingy, which I am willing to mail to just about anyone who wants it.
  21. I know. And it even makes a bit of sense from the league's perspective; maybe if Florida and Arizona hadn't sucked so bad, their non-traditional markets would have adopted hockey the way Las Vegas has. I still don't like it, though. ***** a Kraken.
  22. It was a very good year.
  23. I thought you were driving at that, just wasn't sure. Stabler wasn't great. He really wasn't. Neither was Plunkett. If Stabler's teams would have had a better QB, the Raiders would have won more SBs.
  24. Ullmark isn't the answer anyway. Not for lack of trying, though. It takes a lot of misses to hit on a good franchise QB, which is why so many teams wander in the desert for so long. Miami, Washington, Dallas (I refuse to pretend that Prescott isn't overrated), Raiders, etc., all proud franchises who went longer than the Bills without one. Frankly, I am not sure the Raiders have had one in my lifetime. Amen. My fear is that no good goalie is both willing and available.
