Same timeline, different conclusions, I guess? I don't think the tank was on until 14-15.

And insults. How much have I had to drink? I hadn't! Just a jerk.

I think UPL will be like Ullmark. A steady NHL journeyman. Levi will be either a total bust or the second coming of Carey Price. I like the gamble. Portillo, well, I like the sandwiches: https://www.portillos.com/italian-beef-8-sandwich/

KA on FA, 7/24 presser: We don't want to "box out" our young core

Either the Pegulas controlled Murray and control Adams, or they didn't and don't. It's not both ways. -
And just when we thought you came back because you were ready for the grown-up table. If he's ready, he's ready. If he isn't, he isn't. And he absolutely is more exciting than UPL or Portillo. As steady? No. More exciting? Absolutely. Hoss, or DStebb, or whatever you want to call yourself ("Hoss?" really? Are you a killer cowboy?), you don't seem to be able to speak to others nicely. Maybe take another vacation until you can?

And shouldn't. He is Gaustad.

Not sure I agree with this. That was the year that the team desperately reached out to Pat LaFontaine and all that.

I'm sure he's going to succeed in the NHL. We've been conditioned by the phrase "generational talent" and spoiled by Dahlin and Eichel.

Ah got it! Thank you.

This never happened.

Who?

This isn't going to be the lineup in October. I'm not optimistic, mind you, but at the very least, Adams will be picking up some FAs just to fill out a roster.

TIL that Switzerland has beaches.

And he fought Snoopy in WWI.

Here's where I am right now, after digesting this for a bit: My problem isn't with the prospect. It's pretty obvious that he's going to be a huge hit or a huge miss, and I like it. My problem is only somewhat with the pick, because I don't like the lottery protection. (The Sabres have been burned before, and waiting two years for a major part of the consideration is too long.) My problem, really, is that it's a prospect and a pick. A player and a pick? I would have been fine. A player and a prospect? Also fine. But this is just too little, even if Reinhart is just a rental for Florida. If this was the best he could do to date, Adams should have hung on. This deal would have been available tomorrow or next month. If Reinhart is telling the truth, Adams could have negotiated an extension with him; if Reinhart is not, Adams could have just accepted whatever an arbitrator set, or dealt with an offer sheet. But he blinked--AGAIN. He didn't learn his lesson from the Hall trade, I guess.

Danault is going to be incredibly overpriced.

He's going to have to get some C help in free agency, too.

I can't spell that. EDIT: Thank you @steveoathfor making it copy-pasteable.
