This is a person who needs help, and not necessarily for a gambling problem. -

Is Gambling Good For Professional Sports Or Bad?

I don't think it's good or bad for sports, and I don't think it's good or bad for most people, but the advertising is out of control and annoying. TBN's website is disguising gambling ads as articles, 1520AM has become a "wagertainment" station, and even WGR can't go five minutes without some mention of FanDuel, DraftKings, or whatever. It's just too pervasive. Imagine if cannabis (also newly legal) ads were this prevalent--a certain segment of the population would be raging about it. -
Vegas pick...do the Sabres want them to win the lottery this year?
Eleven replied to sweetlou's topic in The Aud Club
It's unlikely that they'll be a bottom team next year. Take the pick now. -
Gen X doesn't think this.

Just barely. And that makes it even dumber.

Millennials and Zoomers who think that everyone over 40 is a "boomer." There's another ***** generation in between, you twits!

Not until Boston #($*^ off first.

Wait--there's a database of these things? That's where you all get them from?

Ruhwedel.

There is. It is two weeks old, and it is here: Now we can all read the same arguments from people who haven't been in a modern sports/concert facility other than the Arena since about 1997, again.

This could go in a few threads, but this one seems to be the most recent. Lance Lysowski in today's News: "The Sabres are expected to add a veteran goalie to work in tandem with Luukkonen. They’ll likely have to target an overlooked option in free agency – like they did with Anderson last summer – or acquire someone via trade. Adams isn’t looking to land a franchise goalie. He simply needs a bridge option and expressed excitement for what’s ahead, including Levi’s potential arrival next spring. The Sabres hold Levi’s NHL rights until the summer of 2024." According to Lysowski's piece, Adams is very high on Levi for the future. I'm not sure what Lysowski means by "overlooked." There's no reason why the Sabres can't target Fleury.

Well, did you all get what you needed out of the Knights press conference?

$5K fine for Spurgeon.

It absolutely should be. It probably won't, because (1) playoffs and (2) captain, but it should be. And I'm rooting for Minnesota to take it all, too. It was more fun the original way!

Against each other?

Well the first set of TV games for me are pretty sucky. And the linesmen should have let Carolina and Boston fight. The tension leads to injurious hits otherwise.

Oh, I don't post. But If I want to find some other team's info? Absolutely. We have SabreSpace; the other 31 teams' fans only have subreddits and hockyforums and other crappy stuff.

There's enough speculation here. I've no idea. I do know that anyone can go to the VGK subreddit, it's not real hard, and find out the time for a press conference. Maybe the same subreddit will have ideas on whether the coach will be fired.

Sisyphus put in a lot of effort, too, but you wouldn't know it from the results. I never saw anything but full effort out of Okposo.

Just a reminder--picks have to be in before the first game starts tonight at 7pm ET.

AHL points leader local kid from Williamsville, Andrew Poturalski

Same thing applies. He's in the top 2% if he's in the AHL. -

I'm not so sure about that. I think the cellists at the Buffalo Philharmonic might want to play for the London Symphony, but they're pretty happy with an orchestra job, you know? In certain fields--and sports is one of them--you've got to be in the top 2% even to get the lower tier jobs.
