Do you mean in private life? I have no idea--that will depend upon the CBA, I suppose? On the ice, they will wear whatever manufacturer makes a deal with the NHL, unless the league goes to team-specific deals (I know the NFL had this for a while, a ways back; the Bills wore Puma but some other team wore something else).
-
They'll find another maker pretty easily. The true apparel wonks out there won't want to wear something with an old logo, so they'll start buying as soon as there's a new manufacturer. That makes it attractive for the manufacturer. Will the league get a windfall like it did with Adidas in today's economy? Probably not. It might do well to wait a year to find another manufacturer.

What is it with international sport organizations and unnavigable websites? IIHF is almost as bad as FIFA and IOC. (Maybe there's no room for graft in the website industry?) And put the freaking rosters up already!

OT - has anyone else experienced pages slow to load here, or is it just me?

Yes. Especially with embedded tweets / gifs. -
Yep. I've had dental insurance before. It's not useful for anything except for a discount on cleanings every six months.
-
Yes you do.
-
Bingo.

There are only three skaters under contract after the season after the upcoming one.

I couldn't root for him. The ownerS have never shied away from spending money on this team. But there is a cap crunch coming up, and it would be irresponsible to spend big money on Kadri now. If there's one thing that Adams is doing right, it's handling that future situation.
-
Ot would have been 5000% smarter (this is a new metric that I just made up) for them to have kept Mayfield and signed Rosen as a backup, than for them to do what they have done. This is some record-level bad management, here. It's like Art Rooney is controlling Cleveland's team or something.
-
Unbelievable that Kadri remains unsigned. I wonder what's going on there.

Skinner seems a little like the sensitive type. I think a good performance of "Let It Go" might move him.

2021-22 Sabres could be a playoff team in that division. -

Yep, it's the equivalent of matching the Vanek offer sheet. (Which I maintain Regier absolutely had to do.) -
Yeah but he doesn't post here anymore.

Nope. And they did add Weegar. That, I suppose, is something. Their best goaltender couldn't wash Don Edwards's gloves, though, and although they're in the weakest division in the league, that division still does have McDavid. I really think they peaked a couple of months ago. -
He's an *****.

If Calgary is all in now, it's all in with a pair of twos. Calgary doesn't need a complete teardown like Chicago does now or Florida likely will in a couple of years, but it needs to retool. They look like the 2007 or maybe even 2010 Sabres to me, and I'm not sure they're going to make the right moves (as the Sabres didn't). This past season was their best shot for a while, IMO. -
Dunno, then. Maybe I don't know how to work twitter properly.

Yep. Like several people, I think starting with @LGR4GM in the other thread, have stated, this is it for Florida. They're all in for the next two years, and then they're going to have some work to do. Unless stupid teams start taking contracts off their hands--and even then, no picks, as you say. -
That would have been fun to watch!
-
Like Taro said, not in the NHL, at least not "most likely."
-
Yeah, but it doesn't say "Around the CHL 2003," either. He might have a point.
-
Why does this division have to keep getting harder and harder?
-
Oh, what's the point, really?
