No way. Cribbs was a Thurman Thomas. Unfortunately, he bolted for the USFL, and we all know how well people associated with that venture have done.

This is what a captain is made of. It's not the best player (although 6 was very, very good). It's not the loudest guy. It's this. And if the Sabres are retiring numbers cheaply, which I've historically argued they do, WHY NOT THIS GUY?

I don't care and I'm not excusing Adams just because Comrie is injured. I don't think Comrie is the answer (and if you look at the thread from when the Sabres signed him, I was generous), and so I DO think Adams has been derelict in his duty.
