At a base level, I can understand where Marvin is coming from. Starting Championship Level goaltending is hard to find. Once you have one, like a franchise QB in football, you don't trade them or you ask for a kings ransom in return. If the other guy doesn't like it, he can piss off. They should sign a couple SHL guys. I know one who can stop a few pucks. -

Buffalo will sign a veteran goalie to pair with UPL. They might have to pay up but I don't think the reputation of the team is as bad as it has been for the last few years. Free Agents might not line up to play here but Tuch, being the kind of person he is, has relationships around the league which cannot be understated. That, a nice contract with term and a starting job will help persuade a decent goaltender to take a chance. Careers are short. Some players have to look out for themselves and get that money when they can. See>Ullmark -
The trainers room?

To be fair I didn't even expect to see him on Sabres ice again.
-
They count as minuses but Bjork still gets to keep his points.
-
He is. I feel like he has 15-20 goals in there somewhere.
-
We get to see what Bjork has been doing in practice. I need 14 points from him before seasons end.

Muel. My man!

That's what she said 🤣
-
I hear he's been good for the Lightning too. That first game he played un Buffalo was amazing, but ended in injury.
-
I'm glad he's between those guys. Maybe a glimpse of next year.
-
Lets GO Boys!!! Lightning need the points so they'll be physical all game imo
-
Effort is not his problem but maybe consistency? He's already shown alot of grit and effort along the walls and on the backcheck and he'll get better as he gets stronger imo Disclaimer: opinions may differ from mine
-
Now that he has been properly propped up on Sabrespace he has.
-
No, but not many rookies are at his age. I think it can be coached into him and I see it more as a lack of focus or attention on the defensive side. He prefers to let the defense play defense while he anticipates fast strike offense. It leads to alot of fun to watch offensive hockey and an occasional frustrating shift in the defensive end. Meatballs will require his buy in to the team defensive game and his teammates will not let him cheat as much in the NHL imo. I don't think they will try to completely stutter his offensive instincts because that's what makes him special.

Have fun!

Oh so now facts are important?

He's not dead

Why does the writer say this..."and his size is really the only limiting factor in projecting his game to the NHL level" about Cooley as well as mentioning size as a factor with a few others? There are players in the league smaller than him who are extremely successful. Does it come down to desire or is size overrated in hockey? I am starting to hate the tier available with Vegas pick. Can someone school me up?

My man!

Yeah but I'm having fun speculating 😝

He's not a free agent yet. A team could seek permission to see if he is interested in signing with them and if so a deal could be consummated.
-
I don't know. I wasn't present at the negotiations. He may have been put off by what he was hearing from the team?

I hope they sanction Michigan hockey Portillo may be better off in Michigan than Cincy ECHL level I guess
