For all involved I hope this is all a big misunderstanding and no further info about either party is leaked during the remainder of the investigation. Its not fair to form opinions either way nor should it be allowed to "leak" info about either party involved. By the time the investigation is complete the "court" of public opinion will have solved this case umpteen thousand ways.

Borgen had a tough shift right before he assisted on USA 3rd goal. The color guy has been very complimentary of Borgen, he really likes his game and said it'll come out more as the tournament goes on...I like that!

Question about Dish Network Center Ice Package...GFs parents live about 40 miles from Buffalo and cannot get the Sabres games on regular dish service. Want to get them Center Ice but not sure what the blackout rules are or if they would apply. Its my understanding that Dish doesn't offer MSG where they live so would they still receive a Sabres feed and would it be blocked for any reason? Thanks to anyone who can help with this matter

I think Reinhart O'Reilly and McGinn will stay together for a while. Those three are the ones staying after practice and skating together. They are developing chemistry on and off the ice and it shows. Has Eichel made any type of connections like that with a teammate? I'm asking, not sure?

I felt like the ROR McGinn Reinhart line dominated this game for long stretches and I loved it. One time they held it in the zone along with the 4th line for 1:44. That is unheard of for a Sabres team before DD. Reinhart...my love only grows for this kid. McCabe got beat a couple times buy he stood up both Toews and Kane when they were mid rush and took the puck from them and is showing more offensive awareness lately. Maybe he is the top pairing D they need? With further development, he's been a leader on championship teams for the USA at other levels so he has the pedigree? Zemgus and Larsson have a thing going, they are getting alot of almost chances. Ocho has looked solid and calm lately, I like his style

Does anyone who watches the Amerks regularly have an opinion on Jason Akeson? IMO he flashed early on in training camp and seems like a grind it out player with a scoring touch. Am I wrong or could he pull some 3rd, 4th line minutes in the future with the big club? He's still young innit?

I was just thinking that it would/will be nice when the Sabres have a couple finishers on Eichel and Reinhart wings that can snipe those sneaky passes into corners and through 5 holes more often than not. Our forwards give the boards and glass around the net a workout I tell yaAlso, Mike Weber is playing ok lately. He's still apt for a guy or two getting loose but he is physical and tough minded and doesn't take any . The COR to McCabe play was a nice piece of hockeying The entire play was nice, from the original COR dump to Legwand and Deslauriers creating havoc and scoring chances then relentlessly chasing the rebounds and fighting on the boards till COR hooked up with McCabe. That's what a 4th line looks like to me
