I like being able to read about the Amerks here from fans that have actually seen them play, be it live or on TV. Thanks for the updates all. I'm personally excited by and looking forward to seeing Bailey, Baptiste and Carrier play with the Sabres some day, hope they make it.

Could he be the next Byron or MacArthur? Those guys never looked quite like NHL players but somehow after several years on the farm, both caught on with other teams and have carved out decent careers for the most part. Paille is another one that comes to mind of that ilk.

It seems like picking the 3 players who played the best that particular game would be a good way to decide who starts a shootout but Kane should be way down the list. In the skills competition they showed during intermission between Kane and Gionta, Kane skated in and took the same shot 3 times, all saves. He has no business being first 3 over the boards in a game situation, ever. Free Eichel and Reinhart and give Zemgus a chance too.

Watching on DVR, a few thoughts on 1st Kane has turned it up the last few games, he's hitting everything in sight, love it Moulson showed signs of life Chara is looking old and slow out there, good him. Only problem with that is the slower he gets the more that stick whacks away, dick da Chowdaheads

Yeah, top six could get pretty crowded in the next couple years. Spill over to the 3rd line is a nice problem to have. I think he and Samson hang out a bit too these days

I agree on Larsson, he's really starting to "get it" and he's a son of a bitch to play against. I'd bet money if u polled players around the league he is in the Marchand category in terms of pest value. I disagree on McGinn, he has shown up and contributed almost every game and could be a 15-20 goal goal 3rd line type on a contending team.

I thought the lines were pretty balanced last night, I'm glad they didn't change to give them a chance to develop some chemistry. All 4 lines had net front presence last night, it'll be interesting to see what that little bitch chara does if that happens tonight. Someone better set his ass straight if he starts crosschecking with abandon. Make it so

Dunleavy had a nice call on the Foligno goal That pinch and pass by McCabe on the Larsson goal was sweet Gorges might not be part of a championship run with the Sabres but he puts his body on the line every game, that shouldn't be overlooked and I think will be valued by a contender at the deadline

Rooted around you tube for a few of these prospects and Laine has some nice highlights, Puljujarvi as well. Either would be nice on Eichels wing. Appreciate the info on the kids, I just come here and get all I need so thanks.
