Kyle, I think may see a few healthy scrathes this season and should. A forward who's been through the battles, and won his share during a playoff run, would be a welcome addition to this lineup. If I have to wait till the deadline to get one, I will. I just hope it's not too late. That's a monster trade. I wish GMs had the balls for it.

I agree. It's his turn to show growth and maturity. It's a pivotal time in the build, imo he can't afford to ***** it up.

Not much has changed so far. I am more than a little concerned that they brought back Z and Okposo, they're not the problem but they're also not the best option going forward imo. I like the guys but an upgrade was needed there. I would have liked to see atleast 1 upgrade in each position group at the bare minimum. A veteran, playoff tested F, a grizzly, playoff tested top 4 D and a reasonably good option at G, if not a true #1. Someone's gotta go to make that happen. There's going to be atleast one surprise move imo.

He'll get what the market dictates, I wouldn't low ball him. I do wish the bridge deal was still a thing before these players, deserving or not, get these big deals.

It's a different league nowadays. Young players are making more money much sooner than ever before. I'm not quite used to it and i'm not sure it's good for the league overall. Broke ass NHL doesn't have the revenues to keep up I fear.
