  1. We keeping this thing going? Someone has to challenge SDS.
  2. I'm pretty traditional so I love this: My goal song would have to be this though because my blood boils out of every hole when I hear it:
  3. #3 in the world at anything is quite an accomplishment. Good for Jessica! Let's GO Pegs!!!!
  4. I must have some form of ptsd when it comes to the chowdaheads. I can just never feel comfortable in their demise. I am looking forward to the day though.
  5. I love the direction the team has taken since Adams came to the helm. The pace of the rebuild is debatable imo. There's no question the Sabres are better off today than they were under previous regimes. The next step is playoff success. If what Adams has built can sustain some level of playoff success this season and build towards contention in the coming seasons then he'll prove worthy of sticking around a few more years to oversee that.
  6. I like Adams but im going to take a stab at a theory. The one thing I'd say Adams has been guilty of is being afraid to pull the trigger on any trade that is a little risky for Buffalo (the star goalie or trading a first round pick) He's afraid to take a shot because then he'll be tied to that player and their performance and should they fail, he could be out of a job. I saw it reported the other day about another GM, Jarmo Kekäläinen in Columbus. He's been way more active and been in on big names across the league and now this season he really put his neck out, trading for several defenseman and signing Babdick. Should that fail, the speculation is as early as this season, JKGM could be looking for a new job. Once Adams pulls the trigger on a major goaltender or declares the team ready to compete, he's on the clock. Right now, he's the toast of the town.
  7. Offside rule could use a revamp
  8. I like this dude alot. I think you're right and he'll make an impact in Buffalo someday.
  9. I won't miss him. Great player, ***** team. ***** Bahston!
  10. Check him out on YouTube if you wanna see his own hockey skills in action at his ball hockey meet up and his black goathead/white royal Sabres hat
  11. El Nino coming this winter
  12. Hawerchuk had alot left in the tank too. He was pretty great here.
  13. Doug Gilmore proved valuable
  14. Good trades above! Loved the Hawerchuk Lafontaine, Hasek, ROR trades and the rest. Back in the 80s...Danny Gare and Jim Shoenfeld along with Derek Smith went to Detroit for Mike Foligno, Dale McCourt and Brent Peterson. This trade is memorable to me because when Buffalo and Detroit played that season Lindy Ruff and Gare squared off in a fight. Also, Mike Foligno and that goal hop were spectacular to my young eyes.
  15. My life in pizza purgatory continues in another new state. I was spoiled in WNY for 21 years and have been in pizza(and wings) hell ever since.
  16. Adams should arrange to meet Dahlin somewhere of Rasmus choosing. Sign and have a little presser wherever that is, beach, golf course, his family home etc.
  17. Well, how much womb would a galchenyuk chop if...
  18. I could see him getting minutes in the NHL this season. He has just kinda hung around and improved a little year over year throughout his career.
  19. He ain't stopping that blocker high miz
  20. One more year in Sweden then we'll see what's next I guess
  21. Logan Stanley. He's young still 😉 I think the Sabres can win it all with a focused Hellebuyck. He is playing for his last big payday and the cap is going up at a perfect time for him. Someone will pay out the nose if he and the Sabres go deep in the playoffs. Not Buffalo but somebody.
  22. Not that Stanley. It's a bold statement, slightly exaggerated on my part, I get that. I'm sticking by it.
  23. If Helly comes. Stanley comes with him.
  24. Yes. No extension. '24 1st, UPL or Comrie and one of Rosen, Östlund or Savoie. High enough price imo for a one year rental but I'd pay it. Contract motivated goalie meets hungry Sabres team and makes history (Stanley Cup Victory) before riding off to a another team on a huge contract and becoming an average goaltender for the rest of his career.
