It's really early and I don't know if he will continue to develop, (although he has made steady progress through the years), but Brett Murray looks like he could be what the Sabres need in their lineup when they start winning IMO
Samuelson made several plays in the third that stood out.
His physical side is gonna be really good if he manages to put it all together and his skating is definitely better than advertised.
I agree with @Andrew Amerkthough he needs to stay in Rochester a while
Agreed. Instead I'm watching an AHL veteran play in Rochester right now. To be fair, Tokarski is playing ok but I'd rather watch UPL or JJ
How? Samuelson!
The last several years it hasn't felt this way but as of right now I'm of the belief that the future of the Buffalo Sabres is being developed in Rochester.
Atleast a few of these guys could break through with the big club.
I mean, his overall game today was a step up from anything we've seen in the last several weeks I thought. Was it perfect, no.
I did think he played with a little more urgency and was much more active in the offensive zone though.
I thought they were good, even in the third they were getting chances and not backing down until NJ really cranked it up at the end.
Borgen Dahlin deserve to stay together
Get Well JM19 tough blow
The whole team played with urgency all game and it made a difference.
I like Dunleavy ok but I can't help but notice he came from outside the organization.
I think that's why he calls the game the way he does and has little emotion for the Sabres success.
It's gotta be tough to find excitement since the team has had nothing but bad play and luck but maybe a successful team on the ice will change that over time.
