They haven't done well with the Sabres overall. They have improved several aspects of the team and facilities etc but the NHL department is lacking from the top down and has been for a while. I doubt they would sell though

I really think it all comes down to money and more specifically, cash flow. The Pegulas have plenty of money but the Buffalo Sabres, as an organization do not. The team operates at or near break even most years and lost $11 mil last year. The timing of it all just so happens to coincide with NFL Free Agency where multi million dollar signing bonuses are due and payable upon signing. Also didn't KA mention digital scouting? With Covid and all the unknowns?

I'm watching the league play more and the Amerks when they are actually playing. I recently started watching Survivor so I'm binging quite a bit of it also.

Everybody knows they need to make a change but they continue to not make a change. There are some serious levels of mismanagement occurring daily around here. Wake the ***** up and do something. Rumors are surfacing that they could be in on Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Elvis Merzlikins. The 26 year-old net-minder is 4-3-2 this season with a .908 SV% and a 3.02 GAA. In 44 NHL games Merzlikins numbers are excellent as he sports a 2.51 GAA and a .919 SV% to go with a 17-12-10 record. If this guy is available GMKA better be all over it. Edmonton picked up Stalock, has gotten decent goaltending and is still looking for more. Can the Sabres get one?
