They're not the big bad Bs any more but the new guys have more skill so they compliment the top line offensively when they're rolling. I agree. A good team beat a young team trying to learn what it takes to win. I hate the Bs with a passion but I'm meh right now.

This fanbase would have rioted rather than give JJ the net for 3 in a row or 5 of 7 so he could get comfortable like he has. Everywhere he has gone, he has succeeded.

Competition for jobs is wide open, Rochester needs these types to fill the roster. They just got to the league atleast, they could still earn some NHL time. When the Sabres are a playoff team again they will need depth throughout the lower leagues and there's a few FAs that could stick a while IMO

I think that's Mitts future. 2 or 3 C who can slide up to fill in for injury. I'd be thrilled with that tbh, as long as the team is seeing success. That one hurts. That guy has been playing in all situations for them and has a non stop motor.

He's 3rd or 4th on the depth chart. Should we expect him to be higher? If his entire line settles in 3rd or 4th next year that'll do. Oh Mittlestadt btw

I like UPL and I support his ability to make it to the NHL. I think he should spend atleast the next season in the AHL and try to lead them on a playoff run or two. I believe he has the ability to quiet things down and keep focus on the puck during scrums which the better ones have. IMO once he develops fully and gains the confidence that comes with winning he will be near the top of the league in high danger save %.

1...they should sign Mann now to get him out of the way so Portillo can develop although I have a feeling Portillo will push for starts either way next season. 2...They take soooooo long to develop!!!!!

Let him play. He'll find out real quick what he needs to work on over the summer and next season in the AHL. If he has some success, he can go back down next year and build on that. Either way, if his psyche can't handle a little adversity he will never get through a seven game series let alone multiple per playoffs.

Seth Appert along with Mike Weber and Adam Mair have created a positive work environment down on the farm. Through all the lineup changes and craziness of this season the team has stayed competitive and doesn't quit in games. The prospects you mentioned should get some games before years end for persevering through it all.

Damn. Why not get the surgery early and take plenty of time to come back? An injury like that would affect pretty much everything a hockey player does?
