  1. Must be why they just gave up a 3 goal lead and now are losing 5-4 On a Reinhart seeing eye goal
  2. I remember joking when Scott Wedgewood was on waivers and Arizona picked him up that he was the new tank commander. All he's done is go 3-3 with a 2.45 gaa and .929 save %. Goalies are weird man.
  3. And earn him a trip back to Rochester when Toker comes back.
  4. So, you just know UPL is gonna come up and win 3 in a row now
  5. Chowdatweet is incredulous about this. So much fun there.
  6. Murray scored that goal because he stopped in front of the net and didn't glide off to the side. He does that alot. It's good.
  7. Toker is shellshocked. Time to make a goalie move. Even if it's Houser coming up for a game.
  8. The 4 guys watching that goal should feel shame
  9. Selfish change by Eakin stopped a rush
  10. Big Boy gets his first!! Congrats Brett Murray!!
  11. They're being let down by goaltending. The Kraken. Maybe the Sabres can take some friggin shots the rest of the way.
  12. Seattle has been playing really well lately. They beat Carolina Washington and Florida recently and 3 of 4 so it's not crazy to be down 3-0.
  13. That dude was like..ho-hum scored a goal. Think I'll take a nap next.
  14. Stop your feet, dead meat. RJs grandmother used to say that. Even she knew that.
  15. They're defenders act as 4th and 5th forwards basically. They're cruising all over the ice so far. Joki wanted it too
  16. Racking up the firsts. Let's get another....first win against the Kraken!!
  17. Thompson just blasted two into Borgen on that PP
  18. Well... let's GO boys!!! There's a trivia answer some day. Who did the Kraken score their first SHG against? The Buffalo Sabres. Borgen ate those pucks
  19. Good. ***** him
  20. For whatever reason those lessons were lost back then. It's been speculated and debated but this isn't really about that period in time. It's my hope that the new leadership mentioned in the OP will keep these guys interested in the right way of doing things. Meatballs mentioned before the season that winning was the goal but more importantly than that, learning how to win and being put in all situations to see how you react and learn from them. That's how you build winners IMO Girgensons and Okposo seem to have everyone engaged on the team. Having Murray lead the stretch the other day and Tuck today is just another example of it. I hope the lessons stick better this time around.
  21. Gorges took a beating those years in Buffalo. I always appreciated that he played a very tough style every game and never backed down. He probably led the NHL in blocks atleast once here too.
