  2. Cheers to All 🍺🍺🍺
  3. Merry Christmas All. Kids got all the cool stuff. I got to spend time with my new granddaughter which was exquisite. Also, got a gift card towards my Tuch Heritage Classic jersey.
  4. Missed this. Saw the Finland US story. Both teams laying dirty hits. I thought this was a tournament of skill? The boys need to leave that crap out of it IMO
  5. They say he is a great example for the kids on and off the ice. He's carved out a good little career for sure but I do think his future is in coaching. Hopefully they play and are at full strength when you see them. I'd love to see JJ play live I'm betting he's worth the price of admission.
  6. Michael Mersch is just plugging away leading the AHL in goals with 14. There hasn't been a single word uttered about him getting a game in Buffalo. Nor should there be. The value is in his daily preparation and where he has scored those goals. The avg distance is about 2.5 feet, only because he's flung a couple long ones in by surprise. The prospects see him working hard every night and scoring all those goals on in or near the blue paint. I'm sure they know he has no NHL future at this point but yet he works hard every day. The AHL will always have those guys and you need a good mix of them to give the kids some insulation.
  7. Those guys are idiots. It was Peter's being an ass basically. Nothing on Chychrun in the clip and link didn't work?
  8. Chychrun?
  9. I was thinking about that. He's adapted pretty well this year but he had four games with no points during that time and the team got smacked. If it was the flu, the last two vs Lehigh and Hershey he was definitely feeling better and it was noticeable. I think it could be a combo of him getting used to the schedule and demands at this level along with the flu going around. I really like his game and style of play. He's a unique player, the kind that surprises me every game with something. I don't know if he'll translate to a 60+ point player or 40 point guy but a few games between points at the NHL level won't matter as much if the rest of the full package is on display.
  10. Same prolly. Every team has had some
  11. Good comeback in the third Every time I see Krebs powerplay goal the shot looks better. Sneaky good placement. JJ keeps generating chances with his speed. My guy!
  12. I don't have any more expectations of Tuch than he does of himself.
  13. As much as the AHL is supposed to be a developmental league for future NHLers tonight was dominated by a career AHL line. The M line of Macinnis Malone and Mersch dominated the score sheet in this one. Mersch is an old school player, a hard working guy the kids can learn from but he makes me laugh sometimes how he skates around bearing down all over the ice. He did score from his knees on a deflection like that in this game. Dell made that glove save look special. Real old school, throw your glove out kinda save. Peterka appreciated it and gave him a hug. Dell belongs down here IMO OT was fun. Peterka with a chance late, how did he stay on his feet? R2 just looks much more comfortable in Rochester. Like he trusts his skill more. Peterka blew his chance by for the win in the shootout. Quite a shot.
  14. They were off to a decent start without their 1C and now this? Bring Lindy home. Not as head coach obviously but in some capacity.
  15. Good news for local fans. Watch the kids growing up.
  16. I meant the last two 🙃 but yes the rest as well assuming it can be done safely.
  17. Can't wait to watch this weekends games. Glad Krebs potted a couple.
  18. This is special. Moose!
  19. From article above...He watched practices from the bench before he was cleared to skate with the team and sat next to Dominik Hasek for a game in KeyBank Center.
  20. I remember seeing this when it was coming out but didn't watch it. Now I'm going to. Thanks 🍺
  21. Apologies if this has been posted: https://buffalonews.com/sports/sabres/alex-tuch-bubbling-with-excitement-ahead-of-long-awaited-sabres-debut/article_1e856aae-5e83-11ec-9da5-2b3c59767cbb.html "Honestly, I think this is a team that’s built for speed and our systems are built for speed. That’s what I like to bring to the table, a big, strong, fast power forward. That’s my type of game, so I will fit right in here.”
