  1. http://sabres.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=747678&navid=DL|BUF|home Fans are asked to be seated by 6:45pm for the ceremony. Has anyone heard anything about the ceremony being broadcast live on Center Ice? NHL Network? nhl.com or the Sabres website? Thanks.
  2. It sounds like the press conference for Rex will not be until Wednesday. Most certainly trying not to overshadow Hasek Day Tuesday. And perhaps waiting until the offensive/defensive coordinators are defined?
  3. Perry Fewell was fired as DC for the Giants today. He was generally liked upon his departure. Remember he was the Bills' interim coach in '09 after Dickie J was canned.
  4. Bump...... Zemgus + five Blackhawks into ASG based on fan votes..... hahaha: http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=746923&navid=nhl:topheads
  5. There's nothing wrong with readin' books, but there's only one book that counts, d4rk, and it's the Bible. IT SAYS TO HELP YOUR FRIENDS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp18toR4LTE
  6. Does the tin man have a sheet metal c0ck?
  7. Haha nice. I am on my way to Denver now for the Bills game. We are sticking around for the Preds-Avs Tuesday (and skiing), and my brother and I will be wearing our Sabres Roy and Goose jerseys to that game (both are Preds now). We think we're clever. Go Bills!
  8. Edit: darkhorse option: http://www.nhl.com/i...id=nhl:topheads Postponed Rangers-Sabres game rescheduled for Feb. 20; Feb. 20 Senators-Sabres game moved to Dec. 15 Tue Dec 9, 2014 Kings Sabres 7:30 PM Thu Dec 11, 2014 Flames Sabres 7:00 PM Sat Dec 13, 2014 Panthers Sabres 7:00 PM Mon Dec 15, 2014 Senators Sabres 7:00 PM Tue Dec 16, 2014 Sabres Jets 8:00 PM Sat Dec 20, 2014 Avalanche Sabres 7:00 PM Sun Dec 21, 2014 Sabres Bruins 7:00 PM
  9. :w00t: I was thinking the same thing... I've got a slew of Rangers forwards myself. Sounds like it was certainly the right decision though.
  10. Oh nice. I thought I saw the Sabres are at eight straights wins in the series, two of those eight coming in shootout.
  11. You think wrong! They're tied 11 to 11, although McDavid has played 12 games compared to the Sabres at...... almost ten. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=160293 :censored:
  12. You pick: bologna sandwich or knuckle sandwich!
  13. MMMMMmmmmmmm.... Bacon Explosion.... http://blog.bbqaddicts.com/recipes/bacon-explosion/
  14. The Boychuk trade is bad for the Sabres both ways.... Isles immediately get better, and Bruins get TWO 2nd-round picks.... TJ Brennan on the move to Chicago from NYI in the Leddy trade.
  15. Can't we all just get along? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azORIF3ugBI

  17. Others here have wondered about seeing Grigorenko (and Reinhart) centering more skilled wingers. Any thoughts on how productive it will be to have Grigs between Lemieux and Kaleta?
  18. Yeah Ellis is perfect for the 'merks, I think they're on board with that.
  19. EDM and CGY doing two split squad games at once, one in each city, tonight. Kinda throws you off when looking at the scores, two games at once
  20. Awesome, thanks for the analysis dudacek and others
  21. Gionta as C, Gorges and Moulson with the A's. These three really WANT to be here, it seems. Get the new core going and create a culture.
  22. Looks like you are correct! http://www.locatetv.com/listings/nhl-network/9729#21-Sep-2014 Thanks for the heads up. Tons of players in camp, it seems.
  23. My official Sabres wall calendar for September features Nathan Gerbe! I will miss August though, it had Sekera!
  24. Hrmmmm, alright fine, you made me do at least a little research here..... Houston Aeros' AHL attendance (~6000) versus Seattle Thunderbirds' WHL attendance (~4000). Yes, I know it's AHL versus juniors. Not sure I have a point here, after typing it out.... Houston's average attendance in their final year (6793) good enough for 7th in the AHL, 1000 above the average. At any rate, it seems to me that Seattle is an eventuality, but maybe not quite yet, with hat investor saying he'll build an arena for NBA and NHL as soon as he lands an NBA (first).
